What are your tips to surviving a horror movie if you were traped in one?

1. Don’t go in there! (House, cemetery, castle, whatever)
2. Make sure your cell phone is fully charged, there’s gas in the car, etc
3. Carry a silver cross
4. Don’t wear heels (makes running easier).
5. Stay together

Lol. I had a Facebook post about this from a couple years ago. No one ever answers when you ask ‘who’s there?’ Never drop your weapon even if you think the bad guy is dead. Never turn your back on the bad guy. Your vehicle will never start. These are just a few on our list.

Lock your darn doors!

No matter what super scary thing you hear or see do not stop to be sure, just run for Pete's sake!

Don't toy with mystical stuff so if there are tarot, nope; if there is a board, nope; if there is a fortune teller, nope.

Most importantly, if your TV/attic/basement/book/car/mirror/doll/pet starts to talk/move weird just move out, let it go.

Avoid Sex. Especially affairs. If your partner isn't the killer, the killer will gut you both.
Don't forget your weapon.
Don't disturb the dead.
Stay away from the clown.
Avoid Dolls.
Never be a bully or jerk. Not only will you die, but everyone will cheer when it happens.
Don't stop and investigate. Just keep driving and call the cops.
Don't do Alcohol or Drugs.
Never assume the thing you kill is dead the first time.
Avoid large isolated houses.
Avoid basements.
Avoid the prom or other high school parties.

I recently watched a similar video on Saw traps. Some of the key takeaways were:

1. Jam the door open behind you when you enter a room, so you don't end up trapped.
2. Assess the situation before flipping any switches, pulling any cords, or going through openings.
3. Always be looking for escape routes.
4. Bring tools with you from room to room. Things like rope, knives, actual tools, a blanket/tarp, and a long pole can be used to keep you safe or help escape.
