What are Your Plans for Mothers Day?

Not much. :(

This is DH's weekend to work at the hospital and be on call, so he'll be gone tomorrow from noon til 9, just like today. Phooey.

I all but bought my own Mother's Day gifts this year! LOL! He is so awful at hints, so every year I have to get more and more obvious. Poor thing!

We are going to try to get to IHOP for a nice breakfast... my DS's think it's heaven! :rotfl:

Then I will visit my mom and dad in the afternoon with cards and gifts.

Weather may not be too great here, so we'll have to see.

Oh, I need to go buy end of year teacher gifts and some nice dress clothes for DS6's kindergarten graduation this coming week!

Mine rates only slightly higher than the poster cleaning the bathroom!

Well, tomorrow is my DD's Birthday, so, Mothers day is negated in my eyes. She still wants to make me breakfast in bed, but I refused. She is way more important than me, so I want to pamper her. In our family, I wake up my girls on their birthday with ballons, and I wouldn't want that to change just for me.

I didn't really plan on doing much this weekend, was actually kind of bummed about it truthfully because it will be the first time my oldest DD wasn't going to be here with me :guilty:

DH has totally spoiled me though and the day isn't even actually here yet. He got me a laptop two weeks ago and I told him that was my Mother's Day and birthday gift (it's in 2 weeks). Yesterday he went out and bought me the Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Elements so I can play with my pictures on the new computer, and then today he sent me a dozen beautiful red roses from the girls.

My Mom just happens to be in town this weekend for a convention, so youngest DD and I took her out to supper tonight (she has to go home tomorrow).

The only plans I know about tomorrow are of us going to church, after that hopefully it will just be a lazy day.

Happy Mother's Day to all Mother's out there!

Well, I'm pregnant, contracting, and on bedrest, so it looks like not much for me!!! :teeth:

Not sure if DH and dd have anything cooked up. I'm hoping for at least a dinner and a semi-clean house, since I can't really do much but look at these 4 walls. Hopefully in another week or two, I'll have a great mother's day present!

I was on bedrest my first Mother's Day. I had another month to go before I became an official Mommy, tho. Good luck to you. :goodvibes

Well, so far. We haven't done much.

I don't eat breakfast, so oldest made me coffee.......and put the hose in the pool to bring it back up to level.

Youngest is still asleep so I can have my computer time. He did awake enough to ask me if I wanted to play Monopoly today (I hate that game-it takes too long), I told him I'd see.

I have my grocery list so may head over there soon and get that out of the way.

We're teaching Kindergarten Sunday School this morning, and making a fun Mother's Day craft that I can't get to work. I'm just hoping for the best. And then we're leaving straight from church to drive to DD12's chorus concert in downtown Baltimore. All of the singers are supposed to arrive at the same time, and parking is very limited, so I'm hoping to get there early and beat the crowd! We'll be fighting Orioles traffic, too.

We'll probably go to dinner after the concert tonight.

DH and the kids bought me a weeping cherry tree yesterday (I've been hinting for one for the last few Mother's Days) and DH and DD6 planted it for me.
