What are your opinions of Goofy's Kitchen?

I was told by Disney Dining (but lets face it they often have wrong info) that they no longer do that but if you have done it recently than thats good news because thats a great perk.

Unless theyve changed that in the last month PI doesnt open before the park does...I go there every trip and get the earliest sitting for the day I want to go and its always like 5 to 10 min after park opening that they give...I also love to go to GK for dinner...because I really dont want to leave the park during the day I go to GK the first night I get into town to get the party started lol....party:

Yeah see thats what I thought. I remember years ago when it was Pooh and friends getting in early a couple of times but I haven't been able to do that in awhile. And you are just like us, we have to go to Goofy's our first night. Its not officially our Disneyland vacation until we have macarena'd with Goofy!

Us too, we are doing dinner at Goofy's the night before we go into Disneyland. Goofy's is great! They have so many characters there and the interaction is fantastic. They came around and around and around. We eventually had to get onto our kids about eating because they were so distracted and fasinated by all the characters that none of them were eating anything. However my friend and I couldn't stop eating! They have great food there.

We like eating in the park at the Plaza Inn if we do breakfast. That way you are already in the park and can get in some of the longer rides first! They used to let you into the Plaza Inn before the park opened but I don't know if they still do that or not. It was sort of like having two EE's. The food there is good two and so are the characters, however the last time we were there it was Pooh and friends. I think we are going to have b-fast there this March so I hope Minnie is there. My boys have never met Minnie.

We love Goofy's Kitchen. On our last trip, my kids were 3 months, 2, and 4 and a half and they had a blast (well, maybe not the three month old).

It's the one time a year (we try to go to DL once a year) when they can get whatever they want for breakfast. Yes, cookies, ice cream, etc. for breakfast.

I have pics of my boys eating GIANT chocolate chip cookies at breakfast with these huge grins on their faces.

I've only ever been there for breakfast, but we thought the food was great for a buffet. TONS of variety. We've always had a lot of characters come by our table, sit with us, etc. (we try to go at about 8am or so).
