Planning our third trip to Disney now!!

What are your must eat at restaurants in Disney? We are two adults in our late 20s.

In the past we've been to:
California Grill at the Contemporary
Tony's
Rose & Crown
Sci-Fi Drive-in
Alfredo's in Epcot

My tops are:

Konas - Teriyaki Steak and nice seafood dishes
Le cellier - lots of steak choices
Yatchman- signature steak house, the rolls are pull apart served with roasted garlic amazing start to your meal...
Jiko's- lovely menu, very good
Whispering canyon, all you can eat skillet/ bbq fare
Via napoli's- food and pizzia is excellent and the desserts are good
Good luck:wizard:

Our favorites are:
~ California Grill
~ Le Cellier
~ Boma
~ Earl of Sandwich
~ Wolfgang Puck Express
~ Bongos
~ Portobello
~ Raglan Road

I like Sanaa for atmosphere, biergarten for the social aspect, cape may for a good stress free character breakfast, and grand floridian cafe for key lime pie. I know people love to complain about the food, at the Coral Reef but I like it there too. That being said, my favorite meal ever was at the ever popular Jiko.

Our favourites:

50's Prime Time
Ohana's
Whispering Canyon
Yak & Yeti
Chefs de France

And we'd actually give a good review to Cinerella's Royal Table despite hating princessess too!!

We are all adults. Our favorites are V&A, blue zoo, Il Mulino, Shulas, Flying Fish, Citricos, in order.

Lunch:
Rose & Crown is our traditional arrival day lunch
50s Prime Time
Flame Tree BBQ
Wolfgang Puck Express

Dinner:
Citricos
Flying Fish
blue zoo
Jiko

Special Occasion or Occasional Splurge:
Victoria and Albert's

Just booked for Jan with free dining...2nd trip so trying new stuff this time and am sooo excited. Last trip we loved:
Le Cellier
Tepan Edo
50's prime Time
Boma
OHANA!!
Crystal Palace for breakfast...peach bread pudding!

This time I am excited to try
Chefs de France
San Angel Inn

Chefs de France
Kona Cafe
Ohana

The days I want to spend a little less:
Boulangerie Patisserie
Beaches and cream
The Plaza
Captain Cook's

We really like Teppan Edo, Le Cellier, and Coral Reef. There are so many restaurants, that we try to try new restaurants each trip....

For us the restaurants we never fail to go to are:

Coral Reef: I've heard the negative opinions from many, but I have yet to have a bad experience. :confused3
Ohana. Just keep serving me meat offerings and I am one happy carnivorous camper. :lmao:
Narcoossees: I've heard all the bad about this place; not so good service, noisy atmosphere, frozen lobster tail with the Surf & Turf. I have alway had excellent service, find it no more noisy than any other place, and my solution to the Surf & Turf: I substitute the lobster tail with scallops. Love this place. :worship:
Whispering Canyon Cafe: Just keep slapping bbq ribs and pulled pork in front of me with never ending milkshakes and I'm in heaven. :goodvibes
Artist Point: I love this place. Nice, quite and a menu that is so unique from other WDW restaurants. The Char-grilled Buffalo Striploin Steak is awesome. :woohoo:

My hubby is quite upset with me because my new goal is to try each restaurant at least once, which means we haven't returned to our all time favorite..... Ohanas!!!! We LOVE it.

I must say Tusker House breakfast is another favorite of ours.

We also love Kona (though Ohanas tops it for my hubby, for me its even!)

So our must go to places right now are
Ohana
Tusker House
Kona

I'll also say I LOVE lunch at Akershus for princesses!!!

With that said, we aren't doing any of them on this trip so I guess they aren't must do each time LOL Does this make sense???

I've heard such good things about the Tusker House, but I'm just not interested in the Animal Kingdom. I wish I could visit the Tusker House without using a trip to that park. :confused3

I don't make many ADRs when I go down (I like to decide when and where to eat when I'm there and hungry, not 180 or 90 days out) but the one I always make sure to get is one Boma dinner.

Recently I've been eating at Tusker House for lunch on every trip and if I were to go at a busier time I might make that ADR too but as of now I just walk up to that restaurant.

Every trip (all dinners):
'Ohana
Cape May Buffet (sometimes eat here twice)
Teppan Edo
The Yachtsman (sometimes dine at Shula's instead)

Must Eats for us:
- California Grill
- Kona (Breakfast)
- Beaches and Cream
- Blue Zoo
- Chefs de France (Lunch)

Narcoossee's - GF
Citricos - GF
Crystal Palace - MK
Sunshine Seasons - EPCOT - The Land Pavilion - counter service

Other
San Angel Inn - EPCOT - Mexico Pavilion - Use to be one of our favorites, but the food went so far down, that we no longer eat there. The atmosphere, however is the best in all of WDW, which makes this one worth doing at least once. The food is just very average and the service is bad.

We used to have a bunch of "must-do" favorites, but we've tried to get out of that mind-set and try new things each trip (which means we have to sacrifice some of our favorites) and not be disappointed about not doing others.

I'd say our only real remaining "must-do" every trip is HDDR. 'Ohana dinner comes really close to a must-do, but I wasn't able to get an ADR this trip and I'm not crying, so I guess we can live without it ;).

If I were planning a trip for a first-timer (family trip), I'd probably tell them they "must do":

Chef Mickey's (first night or morning only, otherwise skip)
HDDR
'Ohana
Coral Reef
Boma
California Grill
...maybe CRT
for more mature audiences, I'd add Artist Point and Flying Fish
