It might be a favorite place to take a picture, a meal to try, a sunset viewing place or something else. What is your don't miss activity?

My must do activity is to lounge out and fall asleep on the Deck 4 chairs. I absolutely love listening to the ocean and falling asleep in those chairs. The chairs are so comfortable and it is cooler on deck 4 because you are under the life boat.

I must also see Disney Dreams. Anyone who misses out on this production is crazy and is missing so much of the "Disney Magic."

I Loved the show on the last night. Disney dreams I think. It brought tears to my eyes!:earsboy:

Don't miss eating in each of the restaurant at least once. Don't let the boards influence you -- make up your own mind!

I agree definitely grab a book and head to deck 4 for great reading and snoozing in those chairs! Try and get as far forward on Deck 9 or 10, preferably the walk way in front of the basketball court and stand there as the ship heads down the channel towards the open sea. Awesome!!

hearing the magic/wonder horn, watching the faces of my DD and other kids when they see mickey mouse. getting my picture with goofy and dopey(my favorite disney people) snorkeling and last but not least castaway cay:wave: ::yes:: :wave2: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

- Hearing the distinctive horn as the Magic leaves Port
- Sitting on the secret overlook deck watching the moonlight on the water
- doing a "me" thing at the spa
- now that I know what I've been missing...Palo
- laying in the sun, reading a smutty novel

...and finally --- taking the time to do absolutely NOTHING...just relax with my hubby and enjoy our time away from work, laundry, cooking, etc.

Ordering a cheese platter from room service and sitting on my verandah watching the waves go by!!!:sunny:

Go to deck 10-Forward on a clear night, let your eyees adjust for about 15 minutes, and look at the stars. The entire Milky Way Galaxy is spread out across the sky.

I loved the Wine Tasting class at Palo. Well worth the $12 cost!

You HAVE to see at least one movie at the Buena Vista Theatre! That is my favorite activity!

Also the welcome aboard buffet is very good. You can't start your cruise without that great orange/mango soup and all the shrimp you can eat. (I know Rae never misses it!::yes::

Taking the time to relax and really feel the MAGIC or WONDER of your vacation experience. To me it is the most awesome trip I have ever taken - I will always want more.

The horn, brunch and dinner at Palo's, relaxing in the chairs on deck 4 and being rocked to sleep.

I was thinking about more of my must do's on the ship and I have to sit up on Deck 9 at the embarkation lunch outside at Topsiders. I love sitting outside for the first time getting on the boat and looking at the surroundings.

I also have to get the drink of the day, every day!!!!

Don't miss anything!!!! Do as much as you can and still take some time to lounge. The Horn gives me goosebumps. My entire family loves the dining rooms and all the different food to try. I always ask for my servers suggestion and usually order what they suggest. (Mario and Gedde).

A long walk in the night on deck 4 after dinner in the air and sounds is quite romantic.

Do things you have never done before....but most of all enjoy every detail...because it does not last long enough. I compare this to our wedding....people told me to remember everything as I walked down the aisle(17 yrs ago)..and I tried to focus on the beauty of the event...but I was just so overwhelmed by the moment that it was over before I knew it. So this is why I say just enjoy the whole big picture of your vacation because anything you do will be wonderful.:earsboy:

my suggestions all revolve around if you are with kids.

Couple of great things we did with ours:

don't miss learning to "family line dance" in Studio Sea and family karaoke with your kids. Mine had a hoot laughing at AND with me, plus they loved ordering shirley temples. If you go, your kids should get to karaoke right away when it starts & submit their request or they won't be able to "perform" as there are so many!

ordering room service 1 night when you get back to your room so you can snuggle up in bed in your p.j.'s and enjoy choc. chip cookies & milk while turning on a Disney movie and talking about the day.

I also agree with all the rest mentioned so far! You'd really be missing out if you didn't take time to sit out on deck 4 both during the day and in the evening. This was really the single greatest part of our trip (even better than Castaway Cay IMHO).

Repeat, repeat, repeat the DCL whenever possible!!!

1. the sail-away party.

And now that I did it for the first time last year, I've added a must-do:

The brunch at Palo!!

(if you're doing the 7-day.)

EVERYTHING!

I really liked the bridge tour that we went on...I thought it was going to be boring...something BF wanted to do...it was worth the hour!!!
