....for Halloween? My Ds has decided he wants to be Spiderman. His grandma just sent him the costume and he is so excited. Now he wants the electronic gloves that make all of the cool sounds, his costume just wouldn't be complete without them, so he says. ;)

:bounce::wave::bounce:

Christopher keeps going back and forth between Rolie Polie Olie, and Captain Feathersword. But I'm sure there are some others thrown in there too.

So far they have decided on Harry Potter and Bob the Builder. That could change at any minute, which is why I am waiting to get the costumes. :)

I don't know what they are going to be. But for the school Holloween party, I'm going to wear dd's witch costume. I usually run one of the games.

DD13 and all of her girlfriends are looking for ideas that they can all do together....for instance they are thinking about maybe each being a different Barbie or being old west saloon girls. Anyone have any other ideas of things they could be?? All ideas are welcome! ( and desperately needed b/c they keep asking me & I'm blank ) :D
DH & I tried to talk DS6 into being one of the aliens from Toy Story, we thought TDS costume was too cute, but he wants to wear a costume he already has. He's deciding between last year's dinosaur & the year before's frog. They were both Costco costumes & they are adorable!

Maybe they can be Charlie's Angels, a coven of witches, a girl band,

okay, I'm blank now. Goodluck

Emily (6) is going to be Sleeping Beauty, Caroline (almost 3) is going to be Belle. There is no changing their minds, the fabric has been purchased. I usually make their costumes, but this year they will be extra fancy since we will be celebrating Halloween at WDW at MNSSHP!!

My DD is going to be Jasmine. We've already purchased the costume from TDS and she's been wearing it to play around in. She had to have ALL the accessories.

Browneyes-I was at Costco yesterday and they had really cute Sponge Bob costumes.

Belle will be Aurora this year, and Buzz is going as a firefighter. Buzz fell in love with a case of firefighting accessories in a catalog, and it came yesterday and he is SO excited! He has a mask and helmet with a visor, it's really cute. The Aurora dress is almost made--I thought it was easier than Belle last year. Jennyfyar, if you are making the "tougher" costumes (Disney came out with easier princess costumes this fall), I will warn you that Belle was a royal pain, but looked stunning and was worth every second. The worst thing about Aurora is sewing the hem by hand (unless you have a serger--I do, but was afraid to use it with the horse hair, I'm not that used to serging!). By the way, she's a pink kind of girl in our house...

LOL! I thought you were going to say when they grow up. :teeth: We basically don't do Halloween. His private school gives them the day off, and he's not too interested in running around the neighborhood to only the "friendly" homes as I call them. There aren't that many! We tried the local mall once, but that's basically "garbage" candy, as if there's a difference! LOL! In the past 2 years I've had NO kids show up. I'm not buying candy this year.

However, when he grows up he wants to be an artist. He wanted to be a football player for the Miami Dolphins until Dan Marino retired. He thinks the team stinks now. LOL! :teeth:

DD is not sure what she wants to be. Either a "pretty" witch or one of the princesses (again)!

DS is going to be a fireman. We have the hat and the dalmation. All I need is a little yellow slicker. He is 15 months old. Anyone have any idea where to purchase one? We have looked everywhere.

Jen

DD (3.5) is going to be Tigger...AGAIN. This was her costume for her first Halloween, and now she wants it again. My mom always makes her costumes, and then they become dress up clothes until she outgrows them. :)

I'm hoping to convince DS (7) to be Sully this year. He got the costume for Christmas and it'd be nice not to have to buy a new one.

Funny story about the costume. It was from Santa Claus and since it didn't come with a box, and the store didn't have one big enough, Santa (me) had to scrounge around for one. We had an old Duraflame box hanging around and it was just the right size. When DS opened the gift, his first reaction (BEFORE he opened the box) was "Santa brought me firewood?!" Fortunately, he was thrilled when he discovered what Santa had really brought. But it gave us a good story.

Lars how about a different color of M&M for each of the girls?

DD will be Cinderella,
DS (6) Sorcerer Mickey
DS (10) a roman soldier (last year's costume)
DH will be Grumpy

and I think I'm going to make a Snow White costume for me.

Well first DD wanted to be Ariel, then Jasmine, but finally she decided on Snow White and has stuck with that for a few weeks now. I have a $10 off coupon good next week so I think we will go pick up her costume then and of course she needs ALL the accessories!:p

DS is going to be Mike Wazowski and DD can't make up her mind. Good thing is she doesn't want to be Snow White again she's been that for 3 years in a row!
