What are your holiday week movies & binge shows this week?

Recently re-watched:
First Daughter - Katie Holmes plays the daughter of President Michael Keaton. Very sweet, Disney-ish movie directed by actor Forrest Whitaker.
It's free on Plex. You can watch directly from your browser. Nothing to download:

Now watching The Great American Baking Show on the Roku Channel. Roku is a streaming device, TV and also a channel. You can watch directly from your browser. Nothing to download:

Roku is only showing Season 2, and 2 individual Celebrity Bake offs. While this series has the same two hosts as the Great British Baking Show, it doesn't quite have the charm of the original series, which I love. 🥰 The pace is faster and we don't quite seem to get to know the contestants the way we do in the British series.

We re-watched that too, last week. It's a great movie series. Not sure if I want to watch super large aliens in the movie theatre. :scared:

Good point about QP- those aliens are pretty nasty looking. But if we wait a month, it should be available on streaming somewhere. We just saw If in the theaters a couple of weeks ago, and it’s already being promoted on streaming. Loved it BTW.

Thanks for the recommendation. I'll definitely look for it when it's streaming. :thumbsup2

Are you planning on watching the new Twisters movie? It comes out in theaters on July 19.
I am hoping to go, finally something I want to see and there look like a few others I might like in theaters. I like the look of new A Quiet Place and also Fly me to the Moon as well.

Watched JAWS yesterday & contemplating the new Matlock with Kathy Bates, who I just love.

It is grossly hot and sticky here right now, the stormy brought humidity and my body does not like humidity and so I retreat.

Watched JAWS yesterday

Lego has released a new Lego JAWS set, just in time to commemorate the 50th anniversary 😮 of JAWS.

I watched the Dallas Cheerleaders (American Sweethearts) this past week. I liked it. Very informative. :)

The only one is Gettysburg. The battle did take place the first few days on July 1863.
Otherwise it is whatever we feel like watching.
