What are your health and fitness goals for the next six months? Confess so we can hold you accountable.

I'll go first:

Walk at least five days a week, for at least 20 miles a week.

Stretch regularly.

Lose 10 lbs of useless fluff.

Take a minute off my 5K time.

Train to survive the Goofy challange.

Have a ton of fun at the Tower of Terror adventure.

Now what's your goals? Remember you can't hit a target you can't see, so get them goals out there.

HAVE FUN doing it!

Dave, I need to...

Lose at least 30 pounds before the Mickey Marathon in January. My goal is 30. Anything above that will be gravy. (fat free, of course. ;) )

Eat healthier foods to help optimize my performance in the marathon.

Train hard, rest, repeat.

There are many other things I need to do but I'll stick with this for now.

Okay, I"ll play:goodvibes

Train 5 or 6 days per week, including one LR, one speedwork day, some shorter runs, xtraining, and weight training

Finish either Akron Marathon or WDW Marathon at 4:00 or less with DH

Have fun at TOT and marathon weekend with my WISH buddies

Remain as injury free as possible

Model a healthy lifestyle for my children

And, I know I should, but probably won't, eliminate those pesky desserts--but I'm a slave to the sugar!;)

Train 5 days a week - walking, running or jogging

Do the DL half in under 3 hours with DH

Get my house packed up and find a moving company in the next three weeks! Ok, that doesn't have to do with my WISH goals, but it sure is making it harder to train ;)

Becky

OK, my turn.

1. Get my injuries to heal ASAP so I can start training again
2. Train at least 5 days per week
3. Lose 20 lbs. before the Goofy
4. Try to eat healthier (but healthy foods never seem to fill me up :confused3 )
5. Complete the Nike Women's 1/2 in Oct. (will walk most of this since it will probably be my first event post-injury)
6. Complete the Goofy and be an "official" marathon finisher.

That's it for now.
(Way, way, way down the road, I'd like to complete an Ironman Triathlon (preferably in Hawaii) and become a member of the 50/50 club.)

Terri I have the same problem with the healthy food not filling me up where I'm satisfied. What I'll do is wait the required 20 min till my brain gets the message from my tummy that I had a meal. If I'm still hungry then I'll eat something with some rib sticking abolity, like a peanut butter sandwich.

I'll go now even though I haven't had the time to be on this board for a while (new job and all that stuff).

Train for the several halfs and maybe a full marathon I want to run in the coming winter.

Train for and complete the TriOneOOne (Tri 101) event in Texas this November (just the 25.5 or 50.5 mile version this year).

Lose 20 lbs or so, with more after that!

Get my half time down around 2.5 hours.

Eat healthier.

Find a way to make it to one of the upcoming Disney races.

Remember not to train too hard so I can stay free of injury.
