What are your favorite WDW daydream places?

Drinking a margarita at Cantina de San Angel at a lakeside table admiring the view of the WorldShowcase.

I dream about sitting in the lobby of WL at Christmas late at night when it's has quiet down. The Christmas music is playing soft and the fire is roaring and the Christmas tree and lights are on. I calm myself with that vision quite often.

My daydream place would be in the car (we drive each time!) and passing under the "Welcome to Walt Disney World" sign. I just love that! I signifies the very start of the experience!

WOW..what a great and very personal question for me...........

My most favorite place to daydream is:

First of all...without any people around...and @ the Poly beach @ between 5 and 6 in the morning.

Its soooo still and quiet, experiencing the sun rising behind me and shining on the castle. Sipping a cup of coffee, looking @ the castle and listening to the music playing in the distance, from across the lake from the MK and anticipating the day.

These last few years..thinking about DH, mom & dad, who have passed and all the beautiful memories we have shared here for the last 34 years. Hopeing, but mostly praying, that I can have 34 more years of this "magic".

Sorry...Im done..

"people don't stop playing because they have grown old....they have grown old because they have stopped playing"

At the Contemporary or Polynesian looking out over the lakes. Or out on the little boats.

Walking around the MK after closing when the crowds are dwindling.

Lots and lots of time with the kids!

Eating the magic food at the magic restaurants.

I could go on and on.

Upper level at WL lobby on a couch next to the fireplace.

Any BW View balcony in the evening looking at Spaceship Earth.

Mainstreet MK in December leaving late while it is SNOWING even though its 60 degrees.

Hot summer day on the Y&B white sand beach watching the boats go by to EPCOT.

I always walk around the grounds of the WL, to the beach, through the trees, across the creek, everywhere, holding hands with DH, of course.

Bobbi

:earsboy: :earsgirl:

Relaxing by the fire at the WL in a rocking chair----

Having a hot fudge sundae at Ghardellli's--------

Renting a pontoon boat at the Marina at PO and boating down to KeyWest (olivia's) to pick up a take out lunch, eating lunch with my family then slowly riding the boat down to Downtown Disney. Then once we get there, parking the pontoon boat and people watching!

Having a drink with DH upstairs at the piano bar area in the Grand Floridian-----------

Sitting in the big white rocking chairs late at night at the Boardwalk--------

Standing on the boardwalk later in the evening, looking out at all the lights, hotels, and seeing the reflections on the water-------------

Behind the WL there is a small path that leads into a beach area,
sitting on the beach sand late at night with dh..............

I cannot pick ,way too many and much more, but it would be pages....

Gosh!!! Geez!! Too many wonderful spots to pick from to choose :Pinkbounc

Two short weeks and I"ll be out there :moped: discovering new places....
cannot wait!!!!

Keep posting your favorite place(s)!

Awesome Thread:

The lounge at POR listening to the piano player/comedian do his schtick.
:rotfl:

17th tee on Osprey Ridege about 20 minutes before sunset. For that matter, any of the Golf Courses at WDW offer peace, seclusion, and beautiful "cart girls" with plenty of refreshments. :sunny: :flower: :sunny:

The riverboat, after dark, from Downtown Disney to all points on the Sassagoula River. I think you can actually hear dixie music and alligators slipping below the surface of the water during the entire trip.

Secluded chair to the far right of the Polynesian Beach (facing MK) watching the Water Pagent. :love2:

There's so many places that each of us find special that it's hard to name just one. But we all know that feeling of.....contentment!
Outside deck of Rose and Crown during Illuminations with 30 of my soon to be closest friend. :grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

I think I will drink some hot cocoa by the fireplace at the Iron Spike room at VWL.

Oh yeah...you'll find me in the window seat!

The Rose Garden by Cindy's castle...I gave DH an engagement ring there. We had one of those silver ones done by the Ring Carver at Pirates. It said "J

M". He wore it til our wedding.

The eating area behind the Patisserie in France, eating chocolate mousse would be much better than the dentist.

 I could daydream about ANYTHING at Disney!!! That includes even the bus trips!
One of our special memories this last trip just happened to be on one of the bus trips back to the room. My son, nailed a great impersonation of Stitch. On the trip back, he had us laughing until we were about to roll out of our seats. :rotfl:
We LOVE going into Mexico and riding the boat and just looking at the wonderful view.
I can't wait to experience some of the other experiences you guys have mentioned; esp. the Boardwalk at night. Just hoping that it still becomes our other 'home'.
