what are your favorite snacks to get in the parks?

Churros

Minnie Strawberry Bars

Beaver Tails

I never cared for Dole Whip

I like to get an eggroll from the cart in MK by the Treehouse, then I walk straight up to the parade route and grab a cappucino from a place right on the corner?? I have no idea of the name right now, sorry!
Then I watch the parade w/my eggroll and cappucino!

I found the cappucino's all over the parks to be pretty good!!

Hands-down my all-time favorite treat at the parks is the giant rice krispie treats!! I just can't get enough of them!! My other favorite treat is the giant ice cream cookie sandwich at the Sleepy Hollow (I think) at the Magic Kingdom. The cookie is so warm and the ice cream is cold, it's making my mouth water right now!!:jester:

I tried to get a Dole whip on my last trip, but everytime I went by the place, it was closed.
:(

do they still have those "100 years of Magic" ice cream bars? Oh My Lord!!!! Chocolate ice cream bar with caramel and nuts all covered with a chocolate coating. HOLY COW were they good.

If not one of those then a classic Mickey Head Bar or a Dole Whip will do.

I also dig the chocolate macadamia nut carmel cluster candies that you can get at most any of the candy counters in various shops.

Can someone tell me what a Churro is and where in the parks can you get them??? So many of you like them I figured I better try them this summer too!?!

So, when are we all going?! Dole Whip lovers UNITE - let's pool our money for monthly treks! :teeth:

Definitely Mickey Ice Cream Bars. The Huge Lollipops at MGM's candy store were a BIG hit with my DD also. :earsboy: :earsgirl:

MGM's Minnie Strawberry Bar
Epcot Kaki Gori & rice cream & sugar coated roasted almonds

In the MK the ice cream cookie sandwiches. In MGM the rice krispie treats. The 100 year bars are very good. I know this is supposed to be inside the parks but the cream filled donuts at the Boardwalk Bakery are sooooooo good

Chocolate covered Mickey Ears Ice Cream Bars. I can't wait for the next one.

...Dole Whip isn't that hard to find. I used to carry it in my Sweet Shoppe. I just think alot of business owners don't know what it is, and don't want to try something different!

Boy, do I miss it! :( It was a yummy treat, and lowfat too! :p

Those are tasty! I called them "Waltsicles."

They used to be called "Goofy bars." Now that the 100 Years of Magic thing is over, I bet they're going to be called "Goofy bars" again.

I like the Oreo-cookie Mickey shaped ice cream sandwiches. I haven't been able to find them everywhere, though.

Chocolate covered bananas are good, too. I was walking around AK eating one once and Terk attacked me. She wanted me to give up the banana. No chance.

At MK I like the plain orange slush from the Sunshine Tree Terrace. I just prefer that to the one with ice cream.

Epcot: gotta have ginger ice cream from the Yakitori House in Japan and lots of chocolate thingies from Germany.

1.) Citrus Swirl in MK

2.) Maple & Choc beaver tail in Epcot (Make that tie for first!);)

3.) Harp's Ale in UK Epcot.

4.) Shrimp and Pork Eggrolls in MK.

I have to say that I have been to MK hundreds of times over the last 30 years. ( I have lived in Orlando since DW opened.) and last weekend I tried my first Dole Whip after so many comments on this board and I really did not like it (bring on the flames) The citrus swirl to me is soooooo much better. "Oh well, that's just my opinion, I may be wrong."

:jester: :bounce: :Pinkbounc :smooth:

OK_ where are the churros found??? I've never seen them- and what exactly are they??? I really shouldn't be reading this thread. I am a naughty girl! I'm trying to take off lots of weight for our Jan. 2004 trip- then, when I get there, I can have whatever my little heart desires!!! That's just what keeps me going..... isn't that pathetic!!?!?!?!?!

Sometimes we have a hard time finding Churros. I am pretty sure we have gotten them in MK in Frontierland - maybe near the turkey legs if I remember correctly.

I know for sure that we have gotten them in DTD somewhere past Ghiradelli's heading towards Rainforest. Boy - doesn't that help alot.

They are a fried dough stick covered in cinnamon & sugar. My DD's love them.

You can also find churros at the Cantina de San Angel in Mexico at Epcot. We always have to get them for my kids when we are there.
