Just found out that we'll be busy taking care of a couple of elderly relatives due to heath isues during the next few months. While we're able to salvage our vacation it may leave little time (and energy) for traditional Holiday shopping so I'm thinking doing most online. Curious as to what sites people find good values and reliable. Mine are below...I don't do much currently so my list is small.

  • OverStock.com (used only once but got a good price on a camera)
  • ShoeBuy.com (love the return policy)
  • AccessoryStuff.com (small site but some good deals)

I like ordering from Amazon using super saver shipping. Sometimes they're a dollar or two more expensive than another site, but if I don't have a coupon code or free shipping it usually comes out even or cheaper with amazon. It's also easy to ship orders from them to out-of-town relatives during the holidays.

Amazon! I do alot of price comparisons when I buy things, and Amazon is almost always the cheapest way to go! Around the holidays they have some great deals!

Also checkout slickdeals.net, it's a forum where people post where they find great deals, mostly online. And it will have the link with any applicable coupon codes that you can use. I've bought a ton of stuff that I found listed on there! I check it daily.

Well, duh...Disney!! Especially the outlet/clearance sales when they have extra discounts and free shipping!

I also have been doing a lot of Amazon. I was ready to buy a Brother sewing machine for repair jobs and patches for $99 @ Kmart online. I did a pricegrabber.com and found it for $75 free shipping at Amazon. Much less then fixing my old Singer.

I buy books, household needs, Camera, I also like slickdeals.net, 1saleaday.com

The sickdeals site has tips from allllll over from many contributors.
I always try to search out on pricegrabber to find the lowest cost.

Another thing I do, store pickup, from Sams, walmart, kamart, sears, order online and stop in the store to pick up when I get there.

I usually spend about 10 minutes doing comparison shopping between Amazon, Ebay, Google shopping, and Cragislist. This usually yields great pricing and along the line, I find great reviews of the products too.

Another vote for amazon.com.

Also lots of good deals on buy.com, although a lot of the electronics are "refurbished" - I only buy electronics from amazon.com or Costco.com.

Blu-ray.com, of course!

Not only do they give you upcoming release dates, but they also tell you where the "deals" will be for new releases.

As Disney goes, Blu-ray.com is usually well-informed of any coupon promotions, etc.
