I taught one Arielle..........she was sooo beautiful. Really. She first came to school with hair collar length and curled bangs with a bow just behind them (it was the 90s). Then, about a month into school she'd gone to get those long braids weaved in.........I am not kidding, the child was beautiful. She was pretty already, but that hair just sort of staged up her eyes. She was quite smart and well behaved too.
I love the name Isabella - my granddaughter who is due in October will be named that. My other granddaughter is named Liliana which is another name I find very beautiful.
I love my name.
My other favs are:
Rebekah
Lilly (Lilliana)
Ella
Belle
For a while I was going to go with Rebekah Belle (Becky Belle). Then I settled on Lilliana Belle. Then DH's mom died so in her honor it's going to be Lilliana Elizabeth.
My Isabella (age 8) has now discovered that lots and lots of little girls (age 6 and under) have her name or a version of it (Isabel, Isabell, Isabela)
It's a beautiful name but it's very popular right now. Some pretty names I've heard for baby girls lately are:
Ella Grace
Lily Jane
Ariana
Chloe Grace
Elorie
Miri
Suzanna Rose
Annie Grace
Mallory Jane
Sabina
Elisa (pronounced E-lisa)
Cora - yay! That's our choice if my baby is a girl. It's my grandma's name - I think it's old fashioned-trendy, but not overdone. I like Corrie for a nick-name.
Thank you everyone. Another form of Ariel that I love is Ariella. She would still be called Ariel but I think its a bit long because the middle name will be Barbara after my mother.
