I came across this old thread from 2005 and thought i'd bring it back. So, what are your favorite foods at Disney World? It can be anything from Dole Whips to the Cheese Soup at Le Cellier. I'm going in Feb. and need to make a list of things i want to try.

:)

those cream cheese filled pretzles. holy christ I could eat 20 of those in a row. I know they sell them at the stand in the center of tommorow land.

There's a stand near Ariels Grotto / Dumbo that has warm muffins (so perfect and crispy on top) and frozen coke. I cant imagine a better snack :lovestruc

Soupe a l'oignon gratinee - The classic onion soup topped with Gruyere cheese at Chefs de France. yum, yum, yumm. I never thought I would really love something like this, but it is wonderful :) Also, you'll never have a better pretzel like the huge ones in Germany.

Oh so many things! Most of them dessert!!! I LOVE the food-court carrot cake, sugary frosting and all! I try to conceive ways of bringing it home! I've even sneaked a piece at breakfast (c'mon it's vacation!) Also, Kringla pretzels w/almonds in Norway, soft serve at CP (the non-creamy one), peanut butter chocolate cake at CP and Sunshine Seasons, fudge brownie with crushed butterfinger topping at Sunshine Seasons, ceviche at San Angel (don't know why cold marinated fish is so yummy...), create-your-own pasta at POR food court (with alfredo/pesto sauce mix, peas, mushrooms and shrimp ::yes::), tuna sandwich at CHH (tuna is always better at a restaurant IMO), veggie chili at CHH, sundaes with Mickey sprinkles (jimmies!), Dole Whip floats with pineapple/vanilla swirl and Orange/vanilla swirl from the place near the flying carpets in MK. I also had a really yummy danish from a cart in Asia at AK. It was so good with a nice cup of coffee.
whew...now I am hungry!:sad2:

How about an ice cream cookie sandwich from the Main Street Bakery. You choose your cookies and they hand-scoop vanilla ice cream (2 scoops) onto the cookie and press another cookie on top. It's delicious and probably 3.5" across!

I like Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge. That beef whatever is good and a lot of the other things at the buffet. Most buffets lack the flavor its just.... eh beef at AKL its like BAM! beef. kicked up beef

Mine is the chantarelle soup with pumpkin seeds at JIKO. It's something I've never experienced anywhere else. I lick the bowl when nobody is looking.

There are so many favorites to choose from!!

I never miss getting a hot dog at Casey's, and I love the pot roast at 50s PT. This isn't really a food, but new to my list of gotta-haves at WDW is the juice at Donald's breakfast at Tusker House. That stuff is like liquid crack! I couldn't stop drinking it....and then I couldn't stop bouncing off the walls for about four hours afterward!

We really enjoyed the corn dog nuggets at Casey's (even though I've never liked corn dogs....go figure).

The Dole Whip Float.

Popcorn.

Gerds bread and butter pudding at Raglan Road.

Everything at the Ohana's dinner. (Mmmmmm)

The bacon turkey club sandwich at Old Port Royale at CBR.

Lighthouse sandwich at Columbia Harbor. The vegetable sandwich at the Backlot. All popcorn. Desserts in Norway. All the veggie options at the Tangerine cafe.

There are too many to pick!! I love the popcorn, the frozen lemonade, the turkey legs, the pretzels from Germany, the cinamon roll from Main Street Bakery, the Boardwalk Basket from the Boardwalk Villas (room service - the chocolate pastery, yum!!) the roast chicken at Cosmic Rays, the soup at Le Celliar. I could go on but I won't. Just writing this is making me wish for a turkey leg or the pasteries.

Pretzels in Germany, Creme Brulee at Le Cellier, Mushroom Filet at Le Cellier, Chicken Ceasar at Seasons, Strawberry Shortcake at Seasons, Chocolate Croissant at Boardwalk Bakery, Frozen Lemonade, Zebra Domes at Boma, Soft Serve Ice Cream in Tomorrowland
