OK! Last time we went to Disney, we went 90 to nothing - nonstop from morning to night EVERY day with no down time.

For our next trip, we have vowed to slow down and truly enjoy the vacation ...

with that said, I'm needing to know what extra activities there are to do that would be "quickies" -- maybe in association with a meal.

For example - I think one of the best kept secrets is the Electric Water Parade coupled with a dinner at O'Hana.

Or...maybe a carriage ride at POR.

What other suggestions are out there that we can include in our vacation plans?

Thanks for your suggestions! :wizard:

We do not do the commando style touring but get alot of other things done around the world that breaks the park routine and makes the whole vacation more enjoyable. We have AP's so popping into any park, even for just an hour or two is no big deal. Some evenings we like to do minature golf, we like to go to FW on an evening to Crocketts Tavern for our annual pizza and beer fest, going to CR's game room for awhile is great fun, we sometimes catch a good movie at the DTD AMC, we rent a pontoon boat, pack some sandwiches and drinks and cruise Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagooon, pool time and picnics, noon and late night with drinks a must, Steam Train Tour was awesome, Hoop Dee Do Revue is a must for us every trip. These are just a few of our way of enjoying the World but I suggest AllEars web site and Birmbaums that gives a complete overview of everything there is to do on property, I get mine from our local library, peruse is, make some notes and add them to our itinery for suggestions.

The last poster had some great suggestions. I thought renting a pontoon boat sounds like something you might like too, or how about renting the surrey bikes (whole families can ride) and bike around the boardwalk area? You can grab corn dogs and pizza right on the boardwalk, or have a great meal at ESPN or any of the other boardwalk restaurants. Don't forget about the Kitchen Sink at Beaches and Cream in the Beach Club for dessert!

DW and I enjoy the tours, laid back and relaxing way to see the world. The carriage ride around FW, a stroll on the grounds at the Polly in the evening is extremely relaxing and romantic, if timing is right you can view the water pagent parade. Take the time to visit Beaches n' Cream at the Beach Club, its an old time soda shop, best burgers and old fashioned milk shakes .

Fireworks cruise. We have done Breathless from BC/YC in the past and we are doing a Wishes one this year.

DD loved the wonderland tea party. She was 5 when she went and still laughs about it. She also liked the princess tea party but for the money I would vote for the tea party.

The behind the seeds tour was neat and cheap by Disney standards.
