What are YOUR Favorite Baby Girl Names??

My dds':
Kerstynn Nikole
Kennedi Marie

If this baby is a girl: Eva (maybe Eva Elizabeth - haven't decided on the middle name)

A friend of mine has a four year old also named Kennedi (spelled the same)!

DD6 is Kaylin Anne. If DS would have been a girl he would have been Kaia.

I love my name...Erika...though I agree with what others have said about the "unique" spellings. There is a girl in my daughter's class who spells it:

Eryckah

UGH!!!

My dd is Cameron (the traditional spelling...well, traditional for a boy...but then DS is Riley and that is now being used for girls)...other DD is Kelly Joy.

I'd have to say my favorite girl's name is my daughters, Kaitlyn Suzanne. If we decide to have another baby and it's a girl I really like the name Megan. I can just picture myself sticking my head out the back door yelling, "Kaitlyn, Megan...Supper's Ready!"

Special place in my heart for, Norah Elizabeth :lovestruc . My sister who passed away as an infant was named Elizabeth. What better middle name than to give it to our DD :goodvibes .

Putting of flame retardant suit.......Yikes, call me a traditionalist, because some of those names scare me to pieces, no wonder kids are angry. :rotfl2:

Girls names:
Sarah Anne
Sarah Elizabeth
Julie Marie

I am all for being an individual, but, that decision should be the individuals not the parents. You wanna get picked on, have a strange first name.

I don't agree. My first daughter has a common name Ashley Mae. Her name was going to be Aubree but family talked me out of it because it was too unusual. Fast forward to today and my now 13yo hates her name because it is too common and traditional. She is very much an individual and is jealous that her sisters have more unusual names Julianna and Marinah. I was having second thoughts about Marinah because it is so uncommon and she was the one who begged me to keep it. She tells me all the time she wishes I went with my first instinct since she loves Aubree and wants me to change her name. I won't change it because that is her name now but she definately would have been a better Aubree. Anyway she has some girls in her class with unusual names and they don't get picked on they are envied by the 3 Ashleys and 4 Emilys. My only worry when naming a child is that it is a name that can carry over to adulthood well and if I like the shortened name that kids may use later like Julianna is sometimes called Jules and I like that also. I liked the name Bethany but don't like the shortened version Beth so I never used it. I've never seen a kid picked on for a first name, now last name is a different story but you can't choose that.

My daughter is Megan Anastasia

I have a Malia Marie and a Jessica Lynn.

I also love Maya Carolyn (Carolyn after my mom)

Being a Labor & Delivery nurse, I see LOTS of names, weird, normal, outrageous, makes you wonder what their parents are thinking, what will this child's name be like when they're 10, 30, 50, 80?

And, with my name being Jacqueline (Jacquie in the real world), I agree with the weird spellings. I NEVER got magnet or keychain from wherever we were vacationing because it wasn't spelled right. My sister, Karla, was the same way. Oh well. I've survived 40 years, I guess.

Good luck on your decision!!

Jacquie
