What are your fav FREE things to do at F&W fest?

Similar to another thread but focusing on FREE for cheapskates like me!

I believe the ONLY free thing is to sit in on some of the 10-15 minute educational seminars set up around World Showcase.

Oh yeah, eat to the beat, forgot about them. Three shows a night I think.

As for as food or wine though (which is what I was thinking of) I'm pretty sure there are no freebies.

I've never heard of Blake Shelton but I seem to recall someone here saying he's some country singer.

Blake Shelton is a relatively "new" country music entertainer. Good guy.

The wine seminars always have 4 - 6 free wine "tastings", which in my experience have always been decent sized samples. Also, we've gone to some chef demonstrations where they handed out free tastings as well. The concerts are always fun as well! I can not wait to get up there on Saturday

Yes he is a "new" country singer .. I have told my family we can see him for free -- i would have hated to go back on my word !

If you like beer, check out "The History of Beer in America" presented by Samuel Adams. It was fun and informative and you end up with what amounts to about 2 glasses of beer.
Also, the culinary demonstrations are very easy to get into in the evenings. They always include a sample-sized portion of the recipe presented and a copy of the recipe.
The South African cultural representatives present slide shows and seminars about their home country, which are always nice, and of course, as mentioned in the previous posts, Eat to the Beat usually has some fun acts.

I am so jealous of everyone getting to see Blake Shelton! Out of everyone that is playing, he is the only one I wanted to see and we will be there 2 days after he is! Enjoy -- and sing along with "Some Beach" for me!

Well, that explains why I don't know Blake Shelton. I'm a rock 'n' roll kind of girl (I wish I could change my dates by a couple of days to see Three Dog Night, but I know we will have fun anyway).
