What are your best way to keep kids entertained while they wait in line???

Depending on the ages (all of these worked for our DD 3):

* Coloring books and crayons

* Read to them from some Disney character books

* Put on a show with stuffed animals (our DD carried around her Princess Minnie and Sorcerer Mickey)

* Have them help you with a checklist of things to do that day or (if later in the day) the next day

* Make up a song about what you're waiting in line to see

I have two boys, 3 and 5 and they loved the Disney Magical Moments video game. It still keeps them busy!! We'll be taking it back with us this time too.

Here are some ideas that we have used....

play "I spy.."
sing songs
talk about what they've liked so far & what they want to still see
have snacks to eat

On many of the newer rides at DL, they have the line area themed to the ride, so there are things to see, point to, touch, and talk about. I can only assume the imagineers are using this same trick at WDW.
