What are your Best Strategies NOT to bang ears on RnRC bars?

My problem with RnRC is how it bangs my ears and bounces my head back and forth. I’ve tried “supergluing “ the back of my head to the seat back, or super gluing one side of head to one bar. Anyone else have a great strategic, besides duct taping padding ?

Been doing this on RnR for years.

Put your arms up and grip near the top of the shoulder restraints with your forearms firm against those restraints. This will tighten your shoulders and limit the side to side motion of your head.

This is why I don’t do RNR any more. The banging gives me a headache & all the tricks to stop the banging suck all the fun out of the ride. Now my shoulders hurt from tensing.

After the launch is over (during the launch it will be glued back of course), it is actually easier if you keep your head OFF of the back of the headrest. Keep it floating so that it doesn't hit anything

I've tried "glueing" my head to the headrest and I've also tried keeping it lifted away from the headrest. Neither method keeps my head from bouncing around like a pinball. I at least take out my post earrings beforehand so that they aren't stabbing me in the neck.

I don't have a solution, but I just wanted to share my sympathies with you. I don't do RnRC anymore. Those restraints are for tall people. I have a short torso and there is just no way to avoid the headbanging!

I’m not sure what you’re looking for is possible. That ride is just rough.

Normally once the launch is over I tuck my head to one side or the other but still get banged around. Last time kept it in the centre and it was slightly better but still not great. I think getting banged around is unfortunately just part of that ride. I ride once each trip the after that wait for my DD at the exit.

I know it's probably never going to happen but when the ride closes for the re-theme, I would like to see the restraints replaced with the newer vest restraints that other Vekoma coasters have had their regular restraints replaced with. There is little to no head banging with the vests.

Hyperspace Mountain in DLP had announcements saying to "keep your head back on the headrest" but within 3 seconds of launch we realized that was an AWFUL idea and we kept our head forward and it worked fine....
