With several parks, multiple hotels, hundreds of themed shops all loaded with tens of thousands of souvenirs, what are some of your favorite souvenirs that visitors, veterans and "first-timers" alike, should check out?

Here are a few of ours from the past couple of trips;

1. Glass Slipper at Eurospain in DTD for $30; a crystal one for $95.
2. Super-imposed head shots at The Showcase Shop at MGM for $30.
3. Mickey-Roni Pasta at World Traveler in AK for $3.
4. Kidcot Masks in The World Showcase at Epcot for free.
5. Personalized name tags at Disney Days of Christmas in DTD for $6.

Others? We don't want to miss something good...

I think getting mouse ears embroidered with your name are really cool!

The passport for Epcot. The girls loved having a CM from each country write them a little message in the country's language!

A "Talking Monorail Magnet" and a "Walt Disney World Beach Towel." :D

I definitely agree with the Mickey-Roni Pasta - found it along with other bags of Pooh and Tigger shaped pasta at MGM store. Can't remember the name of it now. We also always pick up a Christmas ornament of some kind. We got one that depicted our resort this year, CSR.

BTW - we're from Arlington, TX, too. Small world.

i always have to get either a big jawbreaker or lollipop on the first day of my trip and have something sweet to have while im there...

I have a wonderful collection of the silhouettes from Main St that go back about 25 years (first time I took my oldest DD when she was 3). Last Jan I added the silhouette of my first GrD at 5 mos. DH and I also got the double silhouettes done so we could be added to the group. Now that we get to go more often, I make the kids each sit for one each year - I love the changes in hairstyles, hats, etc - I really treasure these little souvenirs ! :smooth:

My daughters first and only "Princess" dress...it was actually Tinkerbell...she was 4. She's 11 now and it hangs on her bedroom wall on a silk hanger, wand, shoes and all. Also the Epcot masks...we do one every year (dh,dd and myself) then I frame them in shadow box frames and hang them in our rec room. My dh bought an oyster last year and got a huge black pearl out of it but refuses to have it made into jewlery. She also bought a fossilized trilobyte from the gift shop at the end of the "countdown to extinction/dinosuar" ride...it has a real "face"...very cool. Finally we bought a Legacy Tile to comemorate our many visits and plan on adding one again this year for our 3 loyal and elderly puppies...Theo who passed on last March 10th the day we arrived home from WDW (he waited for us to say goodbye) and his 2 remaining companions left behind but soon to follow Gertie and Tyler (both 13 and ailing). This is just some of the sentimental stuff we've bought over the years.

We always buy at least 1 Christmas tree ornament on each trip.DD always has to start the visit with some type of head gear usually something that bobbles on her head.I have also started picking up the car antenna balls they make a great souvenier and not to pricey. Those are just a few of my favorite things but for some reason the car is always much more crowded on the trip home.

My favorites are the Christmas Ornaments. I am trying to get all of the characters. I am doing pretty good. I have many Mickey, some Minnie, Donald and Daisy, Chip and Dale, Goofy, (can't seem to find Pluto), many Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Tigger, Aladdin and Jasmine, Belle and the Beast, many of Belle, Tinkerbell, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, some Cinderella, Figment, Pocohontas and John Smith, Woody, Jessie and Buzz, Nemo, Stitch, Sully, Boo, Mike Wasowski, Ariel, Lady and the Tramp, Bambi, Herbie the Love Bug, Cheshire Cat, Marie and Duchess, Simba, Dumbo, and Figaro

A Legacy tile is part of the "Leave a Legacy" program available at the entrance of EPCOT...you know the big marble abstract structures that look as if they've been pushed up from the ground during an earth quake? haha. they have a series of little metal tiles about 1''X1'' with a picture etched into the metal of your family, you and a friend ect...in the end they give you a little folder with a transparency of your picture and a little certificate telling you where it will be located so you can go and find it whenever you visit EPCOT!:wizard:

But a VIP name tag is must for me...bought mine in 1996 still have it! :D

an ornament (something that reminds me of that particular trip. Last time my DS3 fell in love with Fantasmic, so we got a sorcerer mickey!) and a sweatshirt. We don't get to go every year, but when the sweatshirt "wears out" I know it's time to head back!

Our "must haves" every trip include-

1)-Christmas ornament
2)-pin
3)-t-shirt
4)-ride photo and Mickey frame

After that it is whatever strikes our fancy.

I always have to get the following:

Those big fat Disney pens (with the pushbutton "click" top). I started getting one at my very first trip EONS ago and can't stop now!

Those plastic character head shaped containers of candy...specifically a Donald Duck head filled with Tart-n-tiny's.

Ride Photos.

A set of Mickey Ears.

The Christmas ornaments are popular with us too.

We go so far as to pack an extra empty suitcase for all the treasures we purchase while at the World. Even the good logo cups (which come with certain drink purchases) make good souvenirs and last at our house through the year.

an ornament too. We also get a magnetic photo frame every year, and put a picture of the kids on main street in front of the castle in it on the fridge.............they are interesting right next to each other there.....this time I also got a photo album, as it's getting harder to find disney-themed albums at home...........also keychains. DH always has to buy a new Tower of Terror t-shirt.

For kids: I always buy the character-shaped crayons they have in sets of 24, and give them to my students when I get home, my kids always have to get the little PVC figures, but they were really running low on those this trip.....are they fazing them out? At 3.50 each, they were one of the cheaper souvenirs...............the autograph books, of course, and now the pins, too......and the light spinners, my kids play with those for years in between trips.........

I think for me it has to be the antenna toppers - I could barely find any Christmas ones in Dec and luckly found one for me and one for my sister at the AKL. I was hoping to find ones for Valentine's Day and St Patty's day but no luck. In Oct. I got one for Halloween and one for Thanksgiving. I just got one that I can use all year long - its one with sunglasses and Mickey ears. I also get an ornament any time I am there (it was hard to limit myself to one this last time!!)
