What are you supposed to do with color block character paper?

I bought a few sheets of this, but I don't get what one would use it for in a layout. I get that there are frames and portraits (duh, LOL!) but it's meant to be cut up and used, not used as a page background, right?

Anyone have any links to pages to share showing them in use?

Are you talking about the paper that has multiple sized openings with characters in some blocks and nothing in others?

I have several sheets and I have done several things with them. Of course, I have either given the layout away for a donation of some sort or given the album away as a gift, so no pictures. Sorry about that.

I have taken 1 sheet and cut it apart to make a 2 page LO. That way the elements coordinate, but you have a lot of room for pictures. I've also, cut out windows in the sheet to put pictures or words behind (similar to Queenie's LO).

The cool thing about the paper, is that there is no "right way" to use it. But that also makes it tough.

Very nice page, Queenie! :thumbsup2 Very clever!

Cute page Queenie! I think I'll have to scraplift that! :teeth:

Well, I was going to take a pic and post it of my LO, but both of my camera batteries are dead. But I did something similar to Queenies. I journaled in one of the boxes, put photos in 2 others and put a punch out Mickey head in the last open one. Turned out pretty cute and it only took me maybe 10-15 minutes to complete.
