My one true love in the world is CHOCOLATE!!! :lovestruc lol!! And now that we have a ressie at Kona, i would love to get the chocolate fondu but what do they serve with it?? Basically what yummy treats can you dip in it?? and does anyone have a picture of this yummy dessert?!?!? :worship:

I got the fondue at GF Cafe, not at Kona, but I imagine they are the same, or very similar. Mine came with banana, strawberries, marshmallows, and pineapple.

Is the chocolate a dark chocolate or a milk chocolate? I want to try this, but don't want to get too excited if it's going to be dark chocolate which I don't like.

Hey! I had this at Kona back in early July. All in all, it was good, but if I had it to do over again, I'd make a different choice (there were soooo many good things - it was overwhelming!)

I believe that it was dark chocolate, but to be honest I wasn't paying much attention!!!

Ours had strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, and cookies. It was dark chocolate.

I thought it would be dark chocolate :sad1: Oh well still plenty of other yummy desserts I can try. :)

It really isn't all that as far as desserts are concerned. The chocolate wasn't great quality IMHO although I think melting pot is rip as well with the half inch square brownies and rice crispy treats so I might be a bit biased--I make my own fondu and have three pots going at home, cheese, one with broth to cook the meats and veggies and one with chocolate for dessert so I guess I get my hopes up too high that the quality and quantity should be greater for the $$. My DD's was as described above in July.

Wow, I disagree with them, but then again, mine was a different restaurant. I just assumed they would be the same. I thought it was delicious. I also dislike dark chocolate, but thought the chocolate at GF was soooo good!
