Hi - Just playing around with rates and can't believe how high they are.

I do have a full size reserved from Feb. 13th in Orlando and returning it the 24th in FLL for $300. I'm thinking I won't be able to get it any lower this year.

I would rather a minivan, but the rates are outrageous. Dollar won't take the KISS2 code for those dates which seemed a little strange since we are picking it up on the Tuesday before President's Week.

So what are you paying and does anyone know of a way to get a minivan for around the same price?

I had a great rate on an 8-passenger minivan from Alamo from 2/23 to 3/3. But. . . I needed to change the dates to 2/24 to 3/4 and the rate went from $404 including taxes/fees to $957 when I tried to modify my reservation. Last time I checked it had gone up to around $1200. I called Alamo and the rep said she couldn't get me the original rate I was quoted. She said due to president's week, Daytona, ESPN weekend, etc. the rates were very high. I ended up getting an intermediate from Thrify for $235including taxes/fees. That is the best I have found so far. I guess I will have to cancel my minivan because even splitting it with my friend who is going it would be $600 each. So I guess I will stick with the car for $235.

Dollar at Sanford - $132 for 3 days with $27 for booster seat. Feb 22-23

Hertz @ RSW- Feb 15-20 $188 with taxes, Midsize

Care to share your discount? I'm booking for my friend out of Fort Myers for 10 days Feb. 9 to the 19th and all I could get was $310.00
Was that all taxes in ? I guess I have 5 extra days...Iused the mastercard code on mousesavers and a $25.00 coupon.

Feb 20 to March 9 Thrift MCO $411.00 everything inclusive. Booked last summer no discounts.

$515.28 - National Emerald Aisle - $691.13 with taxes and fees - contract code 5007125, rate code CWAK - rates do seem quite high to me as well - cannot even use the national e-coupons at this rate

Cheers

We are Feb 14- Feb 21 with Budget (BCD code U030172) and total including taxes for Minivan (Ford Freestar) is $249.77. I am happy as I'd been waiting for awhile for a reasonable price!

Those are our exact dates (for our midwinter break)! We were also going to stay at POR (only resort we ever do) but chickened out because of the food court rehab and switched to CBR. Figured this was as good a time as any to try out a new resort.~:)~

I just booked with Thrifty at MCO for Feb. 18-24 - compact car (just DH and me...) for $168 (all taxes and fees) with unlimited miles. I can post promo codes if anyone's interested!

$182.69 compact (Dodge Caliber) Feb. 14-21, Dollar, using oi1054 corp. code. Anybody notice that the Caliber holds the same amount of people as the intermediate (Stratus), and more luggage? DH says it has one heck of a trunk.~:)~

I'm excited to drive the Caliber - I hope that's what we actually end up getting - looks like a neat car!

We've reserved a small SUV through Alamo for $189.xx after all fees etc. Feburary 10-17. It's the best rate I've found so far! I used a $25 off code and a walmart code off mousesavers.

Yeah Suzy Que, a little bummed about the food court but we won't be there much! We need a resort for 5 as my sister has 3 kids and we try and stay at different resorts each time so this will be our first to Riverside! Have fun!

I would love the code on Thrifty.

Can I put a code on my existing contract?

I think the promo code is the one from the Orlando Magic Card we also used it for our 3 week trip.
