What are you going to buy with your Kohl's cash?

so I had every intention of buying some kitchen items I needed but then Kohls.com lured me in with an additional coupon for $10 off of winter accessories....I caved....and decided to splurge and buy 3 cashmere scarves for me, my mom, and my daughter. So with that coupon, a 25% off coupon, my rewards and $15 in kohls cash, that's what I got.

Kohl's cash can be so hard sometimes. Usually, I've bought everything I need and that's how I got the Kohl's cash. I'm sitting on 75.00 plus a 5.00 Yes reward. My husband's family exchanges names to fill stockings so I was hoping to use it to buy stocking stuff for that, but they won't put forth the effort to get together and actually draw names, so my Kohl's cash will probably expire before I know who we are buying for.

So as a backup, I will probably take back the Nike shoes I bought my MIL (will lose 15.00 Kohl's cash) and then rebuy them with the remaining Kohl's cash I have. They are still on sale for $56 so I will get them for free and save myself over $60.00 in cash that I paid for them after tax. Then I can use that 60.00 savings to buy the stocking items.
I like how you think!!!

Hopefully a full zip Nike sweatshirt for DS. He has one in blue and I can barely get it off him to wash.

I'm shopping for me!! I need new work clothes and no one else can try them on.
I only have $30, so ill be using the 25% off too.

I went yesterday. It was a madhouse. I had my $30 Kohls cash, a $5 yes reward and $10 promotion since it's my birthday month. Then 25% off (friends & family)whatever was left to pay. I got a pair of pants, 3 blouses, a sweatshirt/jacket and PJs all for me. And an outfit for my mom and a sweater for SIL (gifts). I think I did good. But I was disappointed that i couldn't find any clothes for my kids. Now that my kids are older and moved into the "Big Kids" section I'm always disappointed.

I went yesterday during my lunch break. Long lines. I got each of my two DS 2 packs of adidas socks (but one get one half off) and a package of white undershirts, one Hanes (men's size) and one Jockey (boy's size). The sizes were really picked over. I had $15 Kohl's cash, a $5 reward from the Yes-whatever-it's called program, and the 25% off coupon. Total was just under $30 and cashier said I saved $65. Well, I know there's no way I would have bought it all full price, so not sure how much I *really* saved, but not bad anyway.

I scored a cute fuzzy blanket, I had a 25% off cuopo and $15 dollars in Kohl's bucks. I ended up spending $2.42. Now I still have $20 at Penney's, $20 at Dick's Sporting Goods #10 at VS and $31 at Cabels' to spend.

I bought two sets of microfiber sheets and an EvenTemp temperature balancing mattress pad - thought I'd use it towards comfort :)

DD17 has used it for secret santa gifts/teacher gifts/friend gifts the last 2 years--she has student council, dance team & dance studio secret santas (and she is creative & cheap--pinterest, crafts) plus teachers/sponsors for all these. The Kohls cash helps her stretch her baby sitting income!

But at other times of the year if there is nothing we need, I buy socks, underwear, tee shirts for DH.

I bought items for myself with my Kohls cash. I needed a new pair of dress pants and a pair of jeans.
  1. I checked the clearance rack and found a pair of dress pants for $7.39 marked down from $36.99.
  2. Then I found a nice pair of jeans on sale and
  3. I found a nice top for winter.
I really prefer to try clothes on and decide in store.
I just don't feel it is something I want others to pick out for me as a gift.

Santa bought a trampoline, so we got $90 in KC. I needed a new slow cooker, so I found the Ninja 3-in-1 and got that (great reviews and I can use it as a stove top and oven along with it being a slow cooker!). We had some other KC and my DH got some new belts. Haha

I had $15 in Yes rewards, so I decided to get DD15 her first pair of diamond earrings, on sale for $25: http://www.kohls.com/product/prd-22...t-tw-diamond-xo-hoop-earrings.jsp?color=White. A whole 1/10th of a carat total of poor quality diamonds LOL But I think she'll be excited just to own diamonds at this age. After my $15 Yes rewards and 30% off and free shipping codes, I paid under $8. Good enough.

I haven't decided if I'll put them in her stocking, or keep them for her Easter basket yet. It'll probably just depend on when they get here - we are leaving town early on the 21st, so for her stocking they would need to get here by the 19th which might be pushing it for Kohl's this time of year.
