I need to stop buying....My DD14.5 was a lego fanatic since a small child. She keeps all pieces/boxes/instructions and ended up selling her older sets for near 2k over the the last two years to help finance her new interests!. They are investments we joke. Well I found nano blocks that are SUPER tiny and sold on amazon or elsewhere in smaller tiny sets. I bought her a pokemon from japan that you build..Hope it is here in time! I got her animals last night and she really enjoyed them so bought pokemon last nights. Nice b/c the sets are small, take up little room and you still get to build...

I have pretty much finished up my dd but she has requested a Netflix membership so she can watch past seasons of a few TV shows. I didn't want to spend any more on her so I think I'll get her a 3 month for less than $25

Awesome! That is what I want to do as well - collect landmarks of place DD has visited. No Disney nanoblock set yet, lol!!!! Glad I helped!

Her phone is up for an upgrade and she has done exceptionally well in high school so far so yeah, she's going to get it with a nice case or two. I got just dance for $14.99 during an amazon lightening deal and will get the DVDs she wants. I bought a blue jacket from hollister but I don't like it. I need to exchange it for another style. I will get her a few outfits to place under the tree. A lot of her list can go in her stocking.

What stocking stuffers are you're daughters getting?

Dance Spirit magazine subscription- she's not too much into magazines but she LOVES dance so I hope she enjoys this.
A new desktop- for both of us because ours is always on the fritz. Bought on Black Friday online along with a wireless printer. Already up and running.

Stocking Ideas...

I did a nice advent calendar for DD14 and that really used up a decent bit of my stocking ideas. I normally do a nice job on stockings...

I got peppermint mocha packs at Starbucks the other days. She loves mochas. I got the Christmas scratch lottery tickets! Burts Bees Chapsticks with color in them....Guitar Picks with the british flag on them...Candy.....????

What stocking stuffers are you're daughters getting?

My dd is also getting an iphone so I'm putting a bunch of accessories in her stocking. I got her an extra charging cable, wall usb plug, car usb plug, a couple cases, all the accessories are pink, oh and a tripod for it.
She will also get chapstick (asked for EOS), mascara and liquid eye-liner, and candy. I'll also put a Kindle card and a couple scrach off tickets in there too.
She wants red velvet cake k-cups, so if I can find them I'll throw them in there. Anyone ever see those by any chance?

Stocking:
EOS, Pack of cards, Farkle, Nail care kit, Travel size 3/1 body wash/shampoo in Hello Kittty and Disney princess for band trips, Godiva dark chocolate/peppermint chocolate bar, fun socks, electric toothbrush, various lip balms, Silly Putty. There may be more. She *loves her stocking. I suggested maybe we stop stockings this year and she shrieked in horror!!

Big gift this year is our Disney Christmas trip. Otherwise DD 13 will be getting clothes, One Direction perfume, Disney Infinity and extra characters, University of AL pennant for her room, more One Direction stuff, and some other things that I can't think of. DW got some neat things for her stocking at Ulta. Also picked up a One Direction pillowcase and a Harry Stiles statue for her room. Do you see a theme here? Did I mention DW also found One Direction pajamas?

We celebrate Hanukkah. We don't do big gifts every night and some of our gifts are probably stocking stuffers for some people. DD13 got

1. book she asked for
2. nice point and shoot camera canon sd330
3 some elastics for rainbow bands plus a small case
4 Ugg Gloves from flea market - even if not authentic they are warm
5 new scooter since hers is very old and she still likes to ride with dd9
6. new ds games
7 movies (a few since they were $1.96 at Walmart on Black Friday)
8 ipad sd card reader and ipad stand

I will get her some clothes but need her to go shopping with me for size - it is a combination of present and um you got taller and have nothing that fits. I also got the two of us tickets to see the US Figure Skating Championships Skating Spectacular.

So many great ideas!! I thought I was done, but I'm not sure now.

Tickets are on sale for a "Supernatural" (the show on the CW) convention that is only an hour away from our house, it's not until Sept! They are expensive ($100 each) but she really wants to go & I didn't get her a "big" gift. She already has a new iPhone 5C & case, a MacBook Pro, new Dr Marten boots, Uggs, a winter coat, so all the stuff I got her for Xmas is just small things. I still don't have that big wow present! She told me to wait on the Warped Tour tickets until more bands are announced so I didn't get them. So now it's driving me nuts that I don't have a big gift for her!

Get the tickets. I am trying so hard to do experiences lately over gifts and I am not one to think that normally!! Last year I surprised DD with tix to sold out 1d show and she was beyond thrilled along with taylor swift tix. Both were for shows in the summer and we really appreciated those gifts during the concert week. Shows were 48 hours apart LOL but she loved it. Gave her voucher for tshirt at each show etc. Don't get me wrong she still had lots of gifts but I did the same thing this year. Concert tix for surprise show - 1d - in summer. 2 states away. So weekend road trip.

I think b/c Dd goes to a private school the need for new clothes isn't so fierce. She enjoys new clothes but they never make a must have on her list. Go for the tickets!!!

I know her father got her a Samsung Galaxy 4S, and likely some other smaller items. I know she wants Marc Jacobs Daisy, but if she gets it, then it will be because her stepmother told him to get it--LOL

I have to pick her up a $50 Walgreens gift card from my sister-tradition so she can get makeup
My parents will likely send me a $100 check for her.

Her aunts and grandparents on her father's side don't know the meaning of restraint. Usually that is side is gift-a-palooza. I'm hoping it is mainly cash instead of gift cards. She goes to college next year and will need stuff, so I'm making her open a checking account.

Other than the gc I have to pick up from my sister for her and those few stuffers, I am absolutely done. No matter what no more.

Ok I'm glad I waited on the Supernatural convention tickets. I think I'll save that for a bday gift. But One Republic just announced a concert for 2014 in NY & they go on sale tomorrow so I will be getting tickets for the whole family! It'll be a family Xmas gift lol ;-)

I agree, the experiences are what they will remember. If I asked my kids what they got for Xmas 2 years ago, they wouldn't have a clue lol they'd remember last year cause we went to Disney! ;-)
