What are you drinking in your cabin?

I brought kahlua and vodka also. I ordered milk from room service. The kahlua has caffeine in it, which I normally avoid, but made a nice drink right before the shows or dinner. And besides using the vodka with the kahlua, you could get juice in the morning and keep it in the fridge until the evening to mix with the vodka. Bring a cup with a lid and straw so it doesn't spill. But, I didn't finish my bottles, even on a 14night cruise (just me drinking) next time I would bring smaller bottles.

I don't use mixers. I just use a flask.

Sloe Gin + sprite + splash of lemonaid (or slice of lemon) = Sloe Gin Fizz
Amaretto + lemonaid = Amaretto Sour

Super easy and very yummy!

My wife and I always bring our carry on padded wine bag. It holds up to 8 bottles but we will usually bring a couple less than what the length of the cruise is plus a bottle of bourbon for myself. We enjoy having a glass on our balcony before dinner and at the end of the night. If it is really late at night and things are closing up I've been known to pour some bourbon in my coffee mug and head up to the smoking area for a cigar.

I'm not really a drinker and typically on my 7 days or shorter cruises I really will not drink at all, however on my two transatlantic cruises I was drinking sangria. I had purchased the bottles of sangria in Spain before I boarded the ship. I had a standing order for breakfast in my stateroom which included assorted fruit. I would save the fruit and use it to mix my sangria.

I got really ambitious last Septmeber when I cruised with my girlfriends! I made two 2-qt carafes of Hippie Juice to have in our cabana on Castaway Cay. I brought disposable rum-runner flasks pre-measured with watermelon vodka, triple sec, and coconut rum. I got the 2-qt pre-measured packets of Crystal Light pink lemonade. I packed all that inside two plastic 2-qt carafes sealed inside the jumbo size, heavy mil ziplocks. When we boarded I scheduled with the concierge to bring me a bowl with 4 cups of sliced strawberries the day before Castaway. When the strawberries arrived I pulled out my carafes, dumped in the liquors & strawberries, then filled to the top with water. I placed the carafes in my refrigerator. The morning of Castaway I wrapped each carafe in a towel and placed it in my beach bag. I put the carafes in our cabana refrigerator and voila! Hippie Juice for the girls to enjoy! It's delicious!

That sounds AMAZING!!!!

That they made it back to the ship or the drink?:)

Just coffee or water for me, boring....
I was in great shape returning to the ship. I don't think we drank all the hippie juice. There was 5 of us drinking, too. Now, after we had a couple glasses of wine on one of the girls' aft verandahs for sailaway from CC I had to have a serious pull-myself-together in the shower. LOL! My roommate doesn't drink and she's a lady I seriously adore and respect. I would rather die than offend her. So I stood in the shower leaning against the wall doing this little pep talk, "Get it straight. Must function. Focus on the function." Later that night I mentioned how really, really messed up I was trying to get ready for dinner and my roommate said she had no idea. I guess I can pull myself together okay. LOL!

We are wine drinkers. On a 3 or 4 night cruise we usually bring a couple of bottles (one red, one white). On a 7-night we usually bring a box (Bota Box Pinot Griggio is a favorite). We love to sit on our veranda in the mid-afternoon with a glass of wine and an "All hands on deck".
