I have no plans, DD will not make it home. Gary has to work today. Looks like rain coming in here. I gave Mom a card the other day with some money in it, so this way she can get what she wants. I might see if she wants to go out today! Maybe stay close to home and stop somewhere for a little something to eat! Texas Roadhouse sounds good! :goodvibes If not I will just stay in today! Everyone have a nice Mother's Day!

I miss my mom terribly :sad2: . This year it has been 11 years since both my mom and dad died, 2 months apart. Not a day goes by that I don't think about them. I had WONDERFUL parents.

As far as the pork roast, I coat it with olive oil, then rub salt, pepper, and garlic powder all over it. I use a large end of a boneless tenderloin. I heat the grill up, stick it on and sear both sides. Then I remove it, wrap it in foil with a little water added, and put it back on the grill. I grill it for about another 2 hours. It is quite delicious, and any leftovers don't make it very long :cool1: !!!!

I'm sorry your DD won't be able to make it home! I hope you have a good day today. :goodvibes

Not entirely sure what we're doing. I told DH I want either Olive Garden or Hibachi Japan. It also depends on the kind of mood DS is in. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he'll be nice and will want to go with us, so I'll let him choose the restaurant if he goes (so nice having to walk around on eggshells, isn't it? :sad2: ). If he doesn't go with us, we'll go see Poseidon, but if he does, I know he won't want to see a movie.

DH is at work, so the kids and I will go to church and then stop by and see my parents and drop off my moms gift. I think the kids and I may go out for lunch since its just the 3 of us.

So far, nothing is planned for the day. Tonight I'm watching Survivor, tho if that counts for anything exciting!

Helping college son figure out where to put all his dorm room stuff back in the house! :teeth:

my dh is working today too! it's also been cold and rainy so dd and I will go to church and then stop by to see my mom and give her candy and card. then home for dd12 to do her homework. happy mother's day!

My DD Pam and my DGD Aiyana are going out for Lunch today. :thumbsup2

Just had breakfast in bed (tea and toast) and had to share the toast with my kids. ;)

Church, then off to my cousins where the family is gathering to celebrate Mother's Day together. Later, we will be going to Benihana's for dinner. A very full day! :goodvibes

My kids are not home and won´t be until late tonight. So, I guess I´ll be going to the cemetary to place flowers on my mothers grave. Wish she was still here :sad2:

Is this horrible? We should be going to church, but I wish that just DH and the kids would go so I could have about 1 1/2 hrs. alone. God will be mad at me I know and I'm a bad example! But I would love to be alone. My mom was very sick last night, don't know if I'll get to see her or not.

I'm spending my Mother's Day having to make the decision between taking care of my injured child, Dangerboy, and my job. After I told my supervising teacher that I needed to take Dangerboy to have his stitches removed (he split his forehead open last weekend ) she left a note on my desk last week informing me that she needed me in the classroom every day this coming week ...........

DH has to work today. I think when he gets home, we are going to take MIL to dinner and my DSs 16&19 are going also. It will be nice to for us all to go out for dinner, since I hardly ever see my DS19 anymore

Working on DD's Culture project - MEXICO - of course we have been so busy visiting "MEXICO" at EPCOT, we have procrastinated doing the actual project!!!!

I had my "special" Mother's Day time ALONE at EPCOT on Friday, and DD and I spent the day at MGM yesterday. She made me some Disney Channel Mother's Day stuff on the computer!

Right now watching the Disney documentary from the Travel Channel. DD really likes this. I think I am grooming a future Disney CM (or Executive - :rotfl: )

Oh yeah, I have laundry and cleaning to do, as I have a house guest coming on Thursday for 5 days!

Me too~had to share my glass of juice and napkin with DS (5). This afternoon we will be at my brothers for a BBQ for my mom and his MIL.
Quiet day planned until then.

Happy Mother's day!! :cheer2:

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY KITTY!!!! :flower2:

Today will be a happy and sad Mother's Day for my family. This is the first Mother's Day w/o my grandma, which will put a bit of a damper on the day. Luckily, my young girls show the family continues with them, and that makes the day happy.

Today, I will be home all day. I am currently making my favorite breakfast - cinnamon rolls :goodvibes Then for lunch my mom and dad will be coming over with KFC - this is our traditional Mother's Day dinner so no one has to cook :thumbsup2 . Then my DB and DSIL will be coming over later for dessert to celebrate DSIL's and my dad's birthday. It will be a good day!!

Im packing and cleaning.. We are closing on our first home on Thursday and will be moving next weekend so Im unfortunately not going to be able to sit out today even though its Mothers Day.. I guess once we actually move and everything is situated I'll have time to relax.. But its worth it..

I am spending the morning with DH and kids. Kids already made me breakfast in bed (with help from DH) and gave me some oh, so cute presents they made at school. I am just going to lounge arund until church time (1 hour to go).

After church we are going to my dad's house (year 2 without my mom on mother's day  ) for a farewell party for my cousin. He leaves tomorrow for the Peace Corps - Romania. DH has to work tonight so it'll be me and the kiddos tonight.

MakinOrlando.. I am SOOOOOOOO jealous of you!! :teeth: Being so close to Disney is my dream.. I am waiting till my children grow up before I make the move since their dad is here and I dont want to split them up.. so Im waiting till my youngest is in college before I do anything.. she is only 8 right now so I still have quite some time.. until then its just visiting WDW when I can..
