I love these responses
Thanks everyone. It seems we are all trying to find the "thing" that keeps us "normal" and grounded day to day. I know that if I didn't get dressed with makeup, I would be lost. I've done it for so long each day before work. I am retired and still do this.
One thing I've noticed is that we are all doing things we don't normally do but are forced to do now. Like with cooking! That one hit home. I love to eat out and we do it at least 3 times a week. I get bored with my usual recipes but am too lazy to start new ones. However, I am trying out new ones now and guess what? it's not so bad. So I am learning to adapt. The one thing I can't do now is get outside much. We still have a lot of snow (and ice today) and it's still cold. But warmer weather is coming and the snow will melt. It just seems like it takes forever. Exercising at home isn't much fun for me but I try
Another thing I put off is Spring cleaning, and this is making me do some of it so I do feel like I've accomplished something. So I guess I'm trying to say that we are all doing things out of our comfort zones, and that might be a good thing.
