Does anything special happen for a specific celebration? We booked thru Disney travel, they asked what we were celebrating but didn't say too much when I told them why were coming....

I dunno. I just came back from my trip, and they just had the crazy Celebration Parade, and almost every 2nd person wore a pin of some sort "Birthday, anniversary, honorary citizen, etc". But its not like the year of a million dreams where random cast members pick someone who is in the right spot at the right time and hand out a prize.

I think they have to ask that bc it's the theme - IDK that they really care...they're just being polite. ;)

I wonder if they have a "I'm Wonderful" button - I'm celebrating my wonderfulness at DL! :rotfl: Of course DH would follow that w/ "You sure are full of something!!"

Well, if you ARE celebrating, it gives them a chance to find out about it, note it in your reservation for future CM's knowledge, and possibly suggest things for you to do to enhance your celebration (lol imagine that, sales....).

When I made my PSs both times I had to tell her we were celebrating something (anniversary and birthday) because she didn't ask. I wanted it to be in our notes in hopes we can get a free dessert out of it. ;)

We stayed at the PPH in April and were celebrating our German exchange student's first visit to Disneyland. We were given Mickey Mouse rice crispy upon check-in and our exchange student received a "First Visit" pin and we all received "Celebrating" pins. We also received nightly turndown service with Disney chocolates which I wasn't expecting (maybe that's the norm at the PPH). In the parks, the pins got the cast members to interact with us but as far as I know, they didn't get us any other free things (which is fine).

We're going the week before Thanksgiving. I'm celebrating going to Disneyland for the first time with the love of my life! It will be my partner, my daughter and me. Is there a button for "Blissfully in love?" :goodvibes :cloud9: I waited 38 years go feel like this, so I darned well want to celebrate! :dance3:
