I'm running out of time, and need ideas! I've gotten DH a few nice gifts, but I wanted to buy a few more. We usually get stuff when we need/want to buy it so there really isn't anything special he wants for Christmas, other than 1 thing which I already bought. Any ideas?

i'm either getting him a metal detector for the beach or an ipod shuffle for in his work truck. I've gotten him a couple sweaters as well.

I have no idea what to get DH, but I think it's strange that we don't know what to get them. After X amount of years together, you'd think it would be easy!

I got him an air compressor with nail gun, a fire dept Tshirt, a pair of firefighting gloves, 3 books, the Indiana Jines trilogy DVDs, and am getting him safety glasses for the fire dept and a flashlight..for the FD. LOL

I have NO clue what to get DH. Everything I've suggested, he says no to. I suggested an Ipod, Playstation 2, paintball stuff, new winter jacket and a few more things. I'm going to end up not getting him anything!

I buy mine a few shirts and slacks that he can wear to the office. I also go with him to Best Buy or Circuit City to see what camera he thinks is the best and then I sneak back when he's at work and buy that one.

We got a new gift for both of us..A new Laptop and a trip to WDW in Jan

My DH is getting one of the "ultimate collector series" Legos! :teeth: That's his "big" gift...I've asked him for a list of movies/DVD's he wants so I can pick a few out from the list. And I'll probably get him some flannel lined jeans and a few different shirts...nothing too exciting.

I got him two Daniel Moore paintings (University of Alabama players), a case of beer from beers around the world, a box of cigars (Macanudo Duke of York), a sweater, and a James Bond DVD that is out of production. I figure he'll love the beers from around the world because every time we go to EPCOT, he buys a beer at every pavilion!

For my DH who has everything and will buy what comes out tomorrow, I got him a Steinbach 17" Grandfather Frost (Russian) Nutcracker. We collect nutcrackers and there is no risk that he will buy this for himself.

I got my dh:

An iPod
Raiders hoodie/sweatshirt
Gun stuff - he collects guns and rifles
Marshmallow shooter :)

The kids made him a stepping stone for the backyard. You can buy the kits at Joanns or Michaels. It has all the kids handprints and they decorated it themselves. It isn't pretty, but he'll cherish it forever.

I'm getting mine an XM Satellite Radio he's been hinting about for a few weeks!!! ;)

I got mine Cirque du Soleil tickets for when they are coming to Detroit. Since it's unlikely that your dh likes Cirque as much as mine *and* that you live around here - I suggest basketball or hockey tickets. I know my dh also enjoys going to games, but he would never buy tickets - too expensive. Plus I'd tell him to take a buddy instead of going with me. It's his version of a spa trip.

A new leather bomber jacket, a Stephen King desk calendar he coveted on e-bay, some old horror movies on DVD, a couple new pairs of jeans and some new t-shirts. Also, since he needed a new wallet I took a cue from someone on the boards and bought him one and filled it with gift cards from his favorite Hot Wheel hunting stores (k-mart, walmart, target). I also picked him up a new tool box since my oldest son bought him some new tools.

6 months of Roadrunner service. He works from home alot and our dialup doesnt always work. Neither does the neighbors wireless that we access (I know, we're bad). And he is always getting knocked off the internet when the phone rings. He's mentioned RR or DSL before but I always say its too expensive. So they are coming next Friday, the 23rd, to install it.

My BF kept saying he wanted a portable external hard drive that Sam's Club had, so I got it for him.

Last year all he wanted was the Star Wars Trilogy on DVD. He likes techie things and gadgets that he'll never use! Sometimes when his wardrobe needs updating, I'll buy him a bunch of shirts that he can wear to work.
