What are you buying your 6/7 year old GIRL for Christmas?

For all you that are buying AG dolls, are there ever any discounts on them? Does AG do anything for black friday that you know of?

AG is currently offering free shipping. I believe it lasts till Sunday, Nov 7 and you need a code. I don't have it with me at the moment but if you do a search I have a thread about it and the code is on there.

I don't recall AG doing anything for black friday last year but they definitely did a big online sale on cyber monday. There was so much traffic on their site that it kept crashing. Took multiple tries (and several hours) to get an order to go thru. The savings were pretty good but I think this year I'm just going to go ahead and get everything on my list while there is free shipping.

My 6.5 year old is getting an ipod touch (since her older sister is as well). Thats obviously the big gift. Then she wants, jessie talking doll, the moxie doll that has the snow that you make, some DS games (harry potter is one for sure), she wants the cake play doh set. Oh, and I ordered from pottery barn teen...they have a glitter 7" lava lamp only $12! So cute. And they have a string of lights with clothes pins, so you can hang it up and put pictures on it. Not sure what other little things.

My 7 year old second grader is getting Lanie and her starter collection from Santa the rest of her gifts will be some accessories from Target (the camping set) to go along with Lanie. She all of a sudden become a fan of littest pet shop (prior to this it was just Polly Pocket), she loves Klutz's books. She's my third girl, but my most girly girly out of the three, but really, what don't we already have.

My daughter will be turning eight right before then but here is what she wants

Cloths from justice
American girl stuff
anything hello kitty
ds video games
barbie's
she loves getting gift cards i put them in her stocking
a pillow pet

My 6 year old dd is getting an electric scooter and ipod touch as her big gifts this year. She is a bit of a tomboy so no dolls for her. :upsidedow

Wow, I'm so surprised to see how many 6-7 year olds are getting iPod touches. I just got one last year, and I was thinking about getting the new nano for my DD6 (turns 7 right after xmas). My big concern was that she might lose it, or break the screen. It has me leaning toward the shuffle, but I don't know if she will like that one.

She is getting:

Lanie doll with accessories and extra outfit
DSlite with games
books (lots)
littlest pet shop animals
doll clothes (from target)
Ice Princess movie
...

There is lots more (way too much), but I can't remember it all! I went way overboard this year, but she is doing SO well in school and at home that she deserves it all.

The funny thing is, she isn't asking for anything big this year. She thinks she has to wait until she is 10 for the doll (hehe sneaky Mom), but I got her and her sister both Lanie dolls from QVC.

My daughter will be 7 by then will be getting

jewlery box and jewlery
books
Leapster explorer
build a bear stuff

I have a closet that I stash all the Christmas presents in but I toss things in there all the time and then forget exactly what I bought

At the top of my head, my 7 year old is getting:
Felicity/Elizabeth Best Friends collection (or possibly save one doll for a later time)
AG outfits for Felicity/Elizabeth
AG camper (as a combined gift for my 4 year old also)
Penguin Pillow Pet
Squinkies Cupcake house and 3 packs of Squinkies
Several packs of Zoobles
New Tinkerbell DS game, LPS pink DS game, Zhu Zhu pets 2 DS game, MLP DS game for her DSi
A North Face fleece jacket
New Tinkerbell movie

Plus the other stuff I forgot about :goodvibes

my dd just turned 7 and got Lanie from America Girl for her birthday. I'm slacking this year and have not started shopping yet! But she will be getting some American Girl doll stuff or some stuff from Target's Generation line. I'm thinking an ipod touch (hopefully a refurbished one). I'm not sure if she is going to get another American Girl Doll-- she wants some more barbies and petshop toys as well. She really wants a unicorn pillow pet too. Ugh-I usually have some shopping done by this point and a much better plan-guess I need to get busy.

I am planning on getting each of my kids a touch--I love mine for reading, music, games, movies, videos etc. I think it would be great for the kids ot use on trips or when we are waiting for one of them to finish a soccer practice or scouts etc. I'm really hoping to get them refurbished ones or score a great deal on the last generation. seems like they are pretty comparable in prices to a lot of handheld gaming systems but they can do a lot more. jmo
the kids will also get cases and screen protectors on theirs--I have mine incased and that really helps alot.

I'm with OP...my dd has too much stuff. And sometimes she just has to have something, but then doesn't play with it much. So I am kind of torn about which things to get from her list.

So far, I have
TS 3 Movie
Barbie Swim Puppies set
Some Barbie clothes
Some Build a Bear clothes
Furry Frenzies & 2 playsets for these
Zoobles
Toss Across game
FAO Scwarz Dino Rock House
Plush Tiana doll
Plush Flora, Fauna & Merriweather (she already has Sleeping Beauty)

I am looking at the Barbie Townhouse or another dollhouse she can use for Barbies.

She really wants the Princess & Me Tiana. But she is kind of careless and I can see that beautiful hairstyle being wrecked in a day. We will see.

For those that get clothes and accessories for AG dolls from other stores, are the Target brand the best quality (over Walmart, etc.)???

My DD7 wants a Touch, but she is not getting one this year. She is constantly "losing" her shuffle in her room for weeks at a time - I don't think she is ready to take care of the Touch. Not to say 7 is too young - it is just too young for my DD.

My DD7 is getting:
Santa
Ipod nano (old style)
Itunes gift cards
I will pick up other small things later

DMIL
AG Kit
Kit's dog
outfits for Kit
Other than that, I'm not sure yet. I may get more of the Kit stuff. She isn't asking for much otherthan the ipod and Kit.

My 7 yo is getting:

MP3 player and docking speakers
Amazon gift card (for mp3 songs)
Guitar (and instruction/playing book)
Troxel horseriding training helmet
Month's worth of horseback riding lessons
Young rider magazine subscription (see a theme here? lol)
Horse jammies (i'll be making these)
More funfusion supplies (she has some already)
ICarly remote

My 9 yo is getting:

MP3 player and docking speakers
Amazon gift card (for mp3 songs)
Memory foam mattress (she loves our Tempur)
Violin (starting one, just to play around on)
Violin books
How to draw cartoons book
"Draw 50 sharks..." book
Couple packs tracing paper
Shark jammies (I'll be making these)
Magazine subscription also (not sure which one yet - thinking 'American Girl')

Combo gift will be Wii Party, and probably one other Wii game (haven't decided which one).

Both getting some smaller stocking-stuffer types of things...

But think I'm almost done.. about 90% of above stuff has been bought.

Dd's should be very happy.. it's not quite what they asked for, but close, lol....

Younger dd asked for an Ipod, a cell phone, a guitar, and a horse. Older dd asked for an ipod, a violin, a laptop, and "anything to do with sharks".

My DD6 is getting a "jumpoline" as she calls it if we can find a decent price on one. I also have already purchased: a barbie horse and carriage, rainbow magic dance fairy books, winnie the pooh books, dollie and me dress, iCarly pjs, iCarly doll, iSam doll, iCarly alarm clock, and an iCarly text messenger. My parents are giving her a My Generation doll (from Target, she'll never know the difference and probably won't play with it much) and a bunch of clothes and accessories to go with it.

They have the "Jumpoline" on sale this Friday and Saturday at Toys R s for $55.99

I am looking for this too! I bought one for my then 3 year old son two years ago and it got DAILY use from my 3, 5 and 7 year olds until it gave out about a month ago. So I will def be replacing it.

We had it in our playroom and all the kids would bounce while watching tv or playing...it was great excercise!

Do you know if this will also be offered online?

My DD is 6 almost 7... She is getting the american gril dolls Felicity and Elizabeth (one from each grandma) I am going to get her some outfits and accesseries (they have free shipping if orded by Sunday - we are ordering all of it tommorow) We are also going to get her a small tv for her room, a blueray player, some movies, and some legos... We will probably ad a few more thigns as well.. :)

Amazon...

It's not great quality and it was $20, but my dd will flip too! So IMO it's worth it! I couldnt find it anywhere else and this was the least expensive there....

Oh my gosh, she will flip out. :thumbsup2 I get free shipping for a year thru Amazon (i'm a student) so that makes it worth it... Did you see the bobble heads at the bottom of the page?
