What are you all up to on this lovely bank holiday weekend?

I'm currently sitting by the sea at Leigh on sea have just listened to the live band! Had a few drinks and some sea food then heading back home! It's such a lovely day and the sunshine is heavenly! Can honestly say its days like this I love living in England!! There's something about being by the sea with a drink in hand and lots of other people who are feeling happy (or merry) bit of both! What a bit of sunshine can do! :-D

This was my last weekend off for the next 4 weeks so have been relaxing as i'm back at work tomorrow. I'm working every bank holiday this year except August that is unless I change my job.

We, DH and I are dog hosts. Basically we look after other peoples dogs in our house. So this weekend, well today, we have a 9 yr old german shepherd dog who is currently sulking by the front door!! So our BH is all taken up by this big shaggy hound.

Today we went to the DIS meet at Tony Romas and I've just come back from walking off all the lovely food with my two dogs.

Tomorrow we're planning on taking them out for a long walk in the forest (one's going in for x-rays on Tuesday and I'm trying to take my mind off it) and doing some jobs round the house and in the garden.

Had a great afternoon at Tony Roma's and then got home and watch BGT and Corrie. Best of all I've still got another 3 days until I go back to work - I can't remember the last time I so long a break.

Tomorrow I shall be crafting and we've got ESTA's and photopass to sort out. I've also promised DS fajitas for dinner and DD a lemon meringue pie so I guess an hour or so in the kitchen is called for.

I'm not up to anything special this bank holiday weekend, I worked most of it then went to my SIL for a curry last night. No plans for today as hubby is having to work, but we're heading up to Manchester midweek as he's taking a couple of days off

very quiet Bank Holiday here, worked on Sat, then spent Sunday playing taxi service so all my lads could get to work, hoping to go out for a nice long walk today though

Wow very busy indeed! Lemon meringue pie sounds so yummy!

You got much planned for the days off! I'm back to work tomorrow :-( I have every weekend off but bank holiday weekend are always a luxury, 1 extra day makes the world of difference, my next time off is to Disney world on August 3rd!
