What Are They Giving Away at the Swan and Dolphin Next Week

I think I have, but I don’t have proof, guess it didn’t happen….

however, I went to add two nights to an April trip…. The Yacht club was cheaper, all in by about 20 bucks.
I didn't mean that you didn't see it. I just meant that I've never seen that. Just taking part in the conversation. 🙂

S/D and many Marriott properties use a dynamic pricing system, as the hotel fill the rates rise and rise until, "they've gone to plaid" happens. S/D was the first property I saw it but looking at some Caribbean locations for next Christmas and ton of Marriott properties have all gone plaid too. I figure they are not really sold out, but anything for the right price can happen ;)

As a Bonvoy Titanium, I usually spend point and not cash there, but I have noticed since the reserve opened or maybe a little longer, Marriott has been pricing those properties more inline with the moderate and deluxe resorts….

And their dynamic pricing takes them well about the GF at times..

Maybe they realized they were priced to low ?

When I started staying there the were between the discount resorts and the moderates ….

Now 350 to 500 is the going rate most nights

At that rate if I need to pay cash I’ll stay on the other side of the bridge

I'm the other way around - would rather earn Marriott points to use towards another trip :-) Disney hotels earn me a big nothing burger except my credit card rewards.

I get paid to earn Marriott points, 300,000 to 500,000 a year
‘so when I run out, and have to spend my own money to get them…… they better be worth it
