^^ Could be. Never really got into Big Bang Theory where the premise seemed to be a group of supposedly really intelligent friends sitting around and making sarcastic remarks to each other passed off as comedy. The Sheldon spinoff wasn't really my thing, but watched a few times when I heard the show was ending. How they plan to tie this newest spinoff back to the original show (if at all) isn't clear to me.
Young Sheldon always tried to work within the confines of what was said in The Big Bang Theory, though sometimes it skirted the edges. Like one time Sheldon mentioned that his father had cheated on his mother. The show decided to address that by making Sheldon think that is true, but it actually is not. They did play up a storyline though where it looked like he might be heading that way.
Definitely Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage (CBS, 10/17)
Another new one called High Potential (ABC & Hulu - 9/17)
And some returning favorites: Grey's Anatomy (ABC & Hulu - 9/26) Call the Midwife (PBS - but usually not until the new year) Sullivan's Crossing (the CW, 10/2) The Way Home (Hallmark Channel - another that likely won't be until the new year) Ghosts (CBS - 10/17) NCIS (CBS - 10/14)
Oh anyone watch Susy on Apple? Just started it a couple of nights ago. Pretty funny in spots. Rashida Jones is in it. It has vibes of the Will Smith movie I Robot.
as for returning shows (and some will not be around till after the first of the year)-

i'm to a point where new shows with story arcs get recorded on my dvr to see if they are going to last more than a handful of episodes. on that subject-how are/were 'tracker' and 'the irrational'? i have the first full seasons of both.
dh is looking forward to it as well. i like that it has taught dh not to complain and to see the potential value when i pack odds and ends of little things when traveling 'just in case'
I watch all my shows on Bravo, a huge reality show fan. But otherwise, cannot wait for the next Amazing Race. Does anyone know when the next season will be?
