What are the rules for posting marketing references?

I am relatively new to the DIS but know we can't post pin codes. However, my postcard has a marketing reference on it as well. I have no clue what it means. Are we allowed to post those or is there a cheatsheat somewhere on the web?

Since my offer is only to March and we are going in Aug/Sept or Dec, I want to know what code releases I should pay attention to.
