I was wondering if anyone knows what the red threads used for garnish on Morimoto Asia's Ribs are? Attaching a pic of them. I am going to take a shot a making them next weekend.
They are called shilgochu. They are dried, shredded red peppers (chilli threads). You can buy them at Korean grocery shops.
You could use chilli flakes instead or Aleppo peppers.
