What are the pro/con of the Disney Resort Hotels? Which are your favorites?

If this is a once in a lifetime trip and you have the means to do it stay on property! The experience is just fabulous and they are just so pretty and SO convenient. We stayed at the Disneyland hotel in 2017 for 4 nights and then 3 nights in 2018 at DL and 3 nights at Miracosta. This coming fall we are doing 4 nights at DL and then 2 nights at Ambassador because i couldn't get anything at Miracosta becuase it booked up beyond fast. We did have the Hilton Tokyo Bay booked beforehand as a back up in case we couldnt get anything on property but we got lucky and were able to book. To give you an idea for 4 nights at the Disneyland hotel with the exchange rate right now we are paying about $1,745 so about $435 a night, compared to the GF in WDW the same room would be about $800 a night! So for us its a no brainer
