What are the parks like in the daytime during HHN?

Hi, everyone!
I apologize if this has been answered before, but I was wondering ...
My kids have the day off from school on Friday, October 15 (Hlilsborough County)
and we were thinking of heading over to the park(s).
I know HHN is that night and the parks close at 5.
That's not the problem, as we could probably just do their favorites.
Here's my dilemma - My 9 1/2 year old DS is EXTREMELY scared of just about everything
and I was wondering what the parks look like during the day.
Would he be okay? (As well as his 6 year old brother, who is a little more adventurous, but still just 6.)
I know there won't be any scare-actors out chasing/scaring guests, but what rides will be closed
and would any of the sets/decorations be too frightening for them?
Thanks so much for any help! I really appreciate it!

degrapevine,

thank you so much for being a responsible parent and not wanting to scare the heck out of your kids!! there wont be any halloween decorations during the day, and the only ride that will be closed is earthquake over at universal studios. ( they have a haunted house in there ) the parks werent very crowded last year and i am expecting the same for this year! i hope you guys have a great time!

TTFN,
Kellie

There will be some scarezone props out during the day, like the huge electrical devices in POE and the Midway props in Universal, but besides that it's the usual. No rides are closed due to HHN.
