Our 14 yr old cat is Splash. LOL No, has nothing to do with my name. She came before Splash Mtn anyway. She's name Spalsh because she liked to play in water as a kitten.

Our other car who died 2 yrs ago at 14 was Lucy -- name after Lucille Ball. I still consider her here with us as part of the family. I find it hard to say we have just 1 cat. We had the 2 together for so long.

2 dogs, Sadie and Max. They are 11, bro and sis from the same litter. She has very short redish brown hair, he has very long hair and is white with large black spots. Same mother, different father. She went blind over the 4th of July last year, he is thrilled because she was the one who always saw the crumbs fall, now she is oblivious and he is FAT! We love them, even tho they snore and fart (SBD), like the old geezers they are. Right now, Max is lying in the corner of the couch, on his back. Very relaxed. I almost for got the fish, only one has a name, the red tail shark, Sharky. DH keeps hoping they will all pass on soon, Sharky does his best to harass the others in the tank, but he hasn't done any real damage.

In my family we've always had glamourous names for our dogs (I grew up with Sophia and Olivia). We chose Ruxandra ( Rewk-sahn-dra, a European version of Roxanne) and call her Ruxie.

My son has a snail named Gary (after SpongeBob's snail named Gary).
