When in AK and walking to EE you pass the 'monkey island' as we call it. That is until last trip we were walking by and I said, "Oh and here are those monkeys" as we were walking past. A CM ahead of us must of overheard, she whipped around and said, "Actually sir they're GIBBONS!" And she proceded to lecture me about the differences.

Now when we pass 'monkey island' we all say to each other, "Actually they're gibbons!"

She must have just had it with people calling her gibbons, monkeys, chimps or gorillas one too many times.

Don't ever... EVER.. tell someone who has been sitting in the same spot with their 3 year old daughter for more than an hour waiting for Wishes to start to move... They didn't even ask nicely. I am a pretty easy going person, but that just about put me over the edge as I explained why I would not move so that their big group which had just walked up could sit down where I was. The nerve of some people.

Also, Journey Into Narnia was/is a HUGE waste of time IMHO.

Don't wear or let your kiddo's wear fake Crocs. They will blister feet something awful. Friend's DD 8 had a fake pair and I didn't want to point out their fakeissity and make a big deal but wish I had.

Luckily in line for Soarin', we were talking to the family in front of us about comfortable shoes and Crocs came up. Friend said they tried them but gave DD blisters. Little girl in front says, "Only the fake ones do that. I know I had a fake pair and they did it to me." She then looked down at them and said, "Yep, those are fake ones" and had this REALLY cute look of pity for poor friend's DD8.

She has real ones now. A Croc outlet store just opened near us!

If your little boy has to go potty while in line for Big Thunder Mountain Railroad...do NOT yank down his pants, expose him the world, and have him wee in the bushes...on a hill...where people behind you have to jump out of the way to avoid the wee as it runs down the hill.

grossest moment of my LIFE...seriously people...think before you wee! Disneyworld is NOT a place for outdoor pottying...even if it IS an emergency. Leave the line if you have to!

Don't EVER make a comment that there is a person inside a costume that make up the characters. They ARE real, even the CMs will make sure you are aware of that!

I was actually in front of some lady in the Judge's tent that kept asking the CM if it was a male or female in the costume! Wow, that CM gave it to them! But they wouldn't stop! And there were so many kids around, little ones too.

As far as attractions, I would say don't bother doing:

Stich's Great Escape
El Rio Tempo (unless the new one is open)
Finding Nemo the Musical

As far as other things:

Don't expect people who have been waiting for hours on a curb at the parks to squeeze over 5 minutes before a parade is to start. Also, please don't just plop yourself and your family in the street, then expect those on the curb to move backwards to accomodate you.

Don't talk during shows or on attractions.

If you have a screaming child/infant, please don't ignore it. Take the child outside.

So many newbies think that Magic Kingdom has no name.

My friend who went last year keeps telling me how much they loved "Disney World" and Animal Kingdom, but that Epcot and MGM/Disney Studios weren't that great.
