What are the lockers at Harry Potter FJ for?

Have a fanny pack or put everything in your pockets. You can fit a small camera and sunglasses in the compartment in the seat but not much more.

No purses, no backpacks, no bags.

cargo pants or shorts

the space in the seat is tiny and the ride is moving while you load so it is hard to put things in it. Even when the ride is packed locker lines are managable. Send one person with all your stuff to lock it up while the rest stand in line. If alone lock up stuff and proceed to single rider line.

Have a great time!!!

I'm confused on these lockers. Why don't they let you take your things on the ride? Are they that "exciting" that things fall out? I carry a messenger bag and DH has an insulated backpack that we have water and snacks in. We would have to put them in a locker? Is that with all rides?

You WILL lose loose articles on FJ. Your ride vehicle is on the end of a robot arm, hence a LOT of motion. I don't want to tell any spoilers, so just take my word for it has someone who has ridden it way too many times.

Cargo pants with pockets that button or tie are your friend. I wear 'em to WWoHP whenever I go, and I look like a pack mule with all the pockets bulging.

When I was on the FJ, my iphone did come out of my pocket. Luckily, I heard it hit the seat and was able to grab it before it went flying out of the seat.
I have a very small camera that I was able to attach to my beltloop with a carabiner and kept it on for the ride with no problem.

If the pocket on the seat is behind you, doesn't it get crushed when you lean on it?

It's actually a recessed metal box built into the seat back. No crushing, since it closes flush with the seat back. Just don't forget anything in it.

Some guy next to me had a bunch of loose change in his pocket, which then proceeded to fall into my seat. It was a bit annoying because I wasn't sure if it was something of mine, but my cargos button closed, so it wasn't.
