What are the differences between Memory Maker and Gold Annual Pass PhotoPass Downloads?

If my annual pass (Disney Gold Pass) includes unlimited PhotoPass downloads is there any need to purchase the Memory Maker for an upcoming trip? I have never purchased Memory Maker before but, I was seriously considering it for this trip before the Annual pass changes and price increases. It sounds like a better deal because I could download photos from trips all year and not just for one month but, I am not sure I really understand how any of it works. Would someone please clarify this for me?

Memory Maker is Photopass Downloads.

Photopass Downloads are included in the price of the Gold Pass.

No reason to purchase Memory Maker because you would then need to ask for a refund.

The download ability on the annual passes (gold and above) give you the ability to download for any pictures taken with in the year time frame. The difference is the amount of time you access to the pictures. If you purchase MM, you have availability to edit and download the photos for 30 days (I believe). The annual pass gives you the ability to download photos for an entire year. For example, I can download my October pictures in May if I wanted to do so.
