What are the Chances?

We booked our first Christmas vacation starting on Dec 15th to coincide with the free dining. We are driving and want to arrive on the 13th and just visit some other resorts and do some of those things. We thought about booking a hotel off-site for those two days, but we are staying at Pop Century and it is only $110 a night for those extra 2 nights. We are doing preferred room. What are the chances of us being able to stay in the same room if I make two reservations back to back? Don't want to lose my free dining but I also don't want to change rooms. Has anyone experienced this? Is there a number to call the resort directly to request this prior to arrival. The regular phone lines are no help.

You need to put a note with each reservation noting the other reservation and requesting to stay in the same room. They will try very hard to keep you in the same room but will not guarantee it up front.

We have done this several times and never had to move. That said, it's always possible.

Mom2rtk's experience has been ours as well. Just make sure your ressies are linked and then remind the CM at check-in.

It costs the Resort additional money for you to check-in/out twice.

They will try to accommodate your desire.

Thanks! Where do I note this? I have already made the free dining (long) reservation. How do I note it on that one?

I would call Disney and have them note it on the reservation. Then I would call again about 2 weeks and confirm that it is noted.

Is the preferred room you have already booked the same type of room that is offered at the $110 rate that you quoted??
