My flight lands at 6:20 PM. I will not be checking luggage. Staying at Bay Lake Tower. What do you think the chances of getting to the resort, checking in and getting up to the Top of the World for 8:00 Wishes? Traveling solo for the night so nobody else to slow me down! :rotfl2:

Better shot if you were renting a car. It can be anywhere from 45 minutes to 1.5 hours to get to your resort by Magic Transportation. BLT has almost always been the 1st stop when we stay there....but not always. It depends are you the last flight the bus is waiting for or the first.....traffic? Lots of variables....but you have a chance.

BLT was the last stop for me when I stayed at BLT before the Members' Cruise in August. I would not count on making it up by 8, I hope you do, though.pixiedust:

I solved this problem! I simply changed my flight so that I arrive to MCO at 3:20....:banana::banana:

Just curious. When are you going that Wishes! is at 8:00p?

* Never mind. Thanks! *

That is about the only way to be relatively sure.

The fastest way isn't a rental car, its a cab from the cab stand. But its 30 minutes from landing to debarking, 10 through the airport if you don't stop to pee, 40 from the airport to BLT assuming no traffic, and it seems to always take us a good ten to check in. Then another 5 up to your room, and another 5 to the lounge. I get 100 minutes. Which means if everything works with no delays - you'd just make it - out of breath.

(Everything could work a little faster, sometimes you get off the plane faster, maybe you'd have that and a three minute check in, and the plane would land a little early because of a tailwind and you'd have twenty relaxing minutes before wishes. Or maybe you'd have gotten stuck on the tarmac for an extra twenty minutes, had a cabbie who drives like my late grandfather, and gotten to BLT to find one CM checking people in, four people in line, and someone arguing with the desk clerk about how booked an Epcot view at BLT and they insist on getting one (move Spaceship Earth for me - this is Disney!), and miss the whole thing while holding your carryon in the lobby.)
