what are the chances of the 4/3 deal extending until the end of the year?

I figure they can run the 4/3 deal in the busiest time (summer) so why not untl the end of the year? It's been extended once before, so I'm hoping that it will extend again. Any other hopefuls besides me? We're going 10-2 to 10-9 at CBR.

I just read an article about layoffs at Disney. The article also stated that attendence is down 26%. I would say chances are good for the 4/3 deal or something even better. Although I would rather see the economy get better.

I'm hoping it is extended, or something better! I am planning a trip for December, and could sure use a good discount.

The current 4/3 offer ends August 15th and people have been getting free dining PIN codes for dates starting August 16th, so I'd be willing to bet that Free Dining is the next 'Big' offer.

I have the Bounceback free dining offer already booked for Sept 26-Oct 4th, but am hoping for a good code for my Dec trip. My mom got a 40% off PIN code several months ago (that needs to be booked by March 31,2009) for several dates in 2009, that include my Dec dates. Unfortunately I've called twice and even though she lives with me, they won't let me use it. They say it is her code and unless she is with me I can't use it and it doesn't matter that my address is on it or that she lives with me.

My youngest son and I are going in November and my oldest son and I are going in January 2010. My travel agent seems to think the deals will keep on coming!

for Aug. and Sept. and I think it would be difficult for Disney to change that at this point. It's like a tradition, now.

There are pin codes with the free dining offers, already. Last year, for the first time free dining was offered for certain weeks in Oct., Nov., and Dec. We took advantage of it in November. If they did it that way last year then chances are high they will do the same for this year.

I do expect to see more deals offered for the whole year, but I also suspect that Disney will be making further cutbacks at the same time. If they are not bringing in the same or better profit there has to be more cutbacks. It's simple arithmetic. So, are you getting true value out of these promos, right now? Obviously, this will depend on how far Disney goes with these cutbacks.

I've been lucky enough to go the last 5 years, but I've done it with free dining each time. I won't pay so-called full price; I'll stay home first.

Good luck to all on the deals!

Free dining would be nice for October but the 4/3 deal would work out to be much cheaper so I'm really hoping that they will just extend the 4/3. :thumbsup2

Just call and say you are her. Solved.

yeah i really doubt the buy 4 get 3 will be extended since free dining seems to be the next promo. my travel agent at AAA thinks that it will be announced for the general public in april. i am really hoping so coz as of now my trip from sept. 28 - oct. 9 is going to cost a little less than $1800. last year i paid $1250 for the same hotel (all star music) with dining and park hopper/ waterparks n more option. i really need the price to drop! :hourglass
