What are the chances of one night at DVC on Dec 30?

Considering adding one night to a stay. Need to add Dec 30. I was thinking of changing the flight tonight while it is still available, but am unsure if I can get one night at any DVC studio. What are the chances?

Has anyone heard how booked for Christmas?

It's hard to judge, but don't get your hopes up too high.

New Year's Eve is probably the most single popular night for the entire year, and most book the Studios at 11-months out, and most don't come for just the NYE evening but book several day vacations, both days before NYE (which includes the 30th) and/or several days after.

I suspect any openings that have come up at all in the last several weeks were probably gone to those on waitlists. Possibly the only chance would be if there was some DVC inventory that normally goes to CRO for cash ressies that weren't sold, and so would be turned over to DVC for point usage. (If you aren't aware, DVC (DVD) actually owns about 2-4% of the units and use them as a buffer for reservations maintenance timeframes, etc, and CRO rents them out for cash when they're available.)
