What are the chances of getting Value rooms that are currently booked up?

I'm looking at tacking on 2 days at a Value to the end of our trip, we're staying offsite for a week. Dec. 10 is fine, but the 9th is all booked up, even 2 bed Moderates. Guess its the Pop Warner folks. Has anyone had any experience with things opening up later? The other problem is that we would need 3 rooms, there's 12 of us!! I really want the 2 days in a row, so we can have a full day in the parks without having to change rooms.

I am having the same problem.....WHAT IS POP WARNER ??? What does that mean ? I have asked before but never got an answer. Just wondering ...

I would try again about 44 to 43 days before the date you need. That's when (45 days out) deposits are due on packages, and the packages will start to cancel if they are not paid. I'm not sure what the grace period is for package payments.

I would think there is a reasonable chance that something might open up.

That being said, the values will still be hard to get due to Pop Warner.

My understanding is a large number also stay at the Port Orleans resorts too.

Thanks, that sounds good, its 62 days now, so looks like I'll try again on or about Oct. 27th.

I would keep trying all the time. my partner called to try to get a room for 7th to 10th. The resort they offered him was not his first choice - but they put it on hold for him anyway - just incase. Guess how long they offered to put it on hold for? 2 weeks, and with no credit card guarantee. Two weeks is a long time, and people could be holding several rooms at once - no wonder we can't get the rooms we want!

How do you know they are booked up?? Is there a way to check on-line?? Or do I have to call ? :flower:

You can check online at www.disney.com, but it's best to call, and keep calling. The first ever WDW reservation i made was over the Thanksgiving week. When I first called - maybe a couple of months before - they had nothing anywhere for the whole week. I eventually ended up making two ressies - one for the first three days over thanksgiving at rack rate and the second for the last four days at annual passport rate. So don't worry too much, rooms open up all the time - just keep calling.

Just keep calling. I was able to add a day to my ressie in October when ASMo was showed as booked. I talked to about 10 different CM's in my calls and they all told me it was booked solid. Then just a couple days ago I figured I would give it one last try. I got a great CM. She told me their are rooms just blacked out but there are ways to open them up. After a short wait on hold she got me am extra night in our "booked" hotel. Good Luck :wizard:

I just did a search on Expedia with a Check in date of Dec. 9th and a check out date of Dec 11th and Pop Century and All Star Sports show up at $77. The Caribbean and Coronado show up at $134 Standard. All Star Movies shows availibility the 10th, but not the 9th.

I can't tell you that any of them have 3 rooms though.
