What are the chances for a walk up for 1?

I'm leaving in a couple of weeks and I get to WDW 1 day before my friend. I wanted to eat at Ohana but can't seem to get an ADR ( for any party size! LOL). What are the chances of getting a walk up for 1 person? Anyone tried it before?

I have done walk ups for 1 before and had no problems at other restaurants, but not Ohana yet. I would think you should be ok as long as it's not in the middle of the meal rush... try early or later.... Good luck!

Not tried Ohana before but have usually had good luck getting walk ups as long as I was willing to wait and it wasn't right at the dinner rush.

I remember reading somewhere that Ohana and I believe it is the Garden Grill in Epcot do not accommodate solo dinners because they only serve "family style". Has any one else come across this information? Also I have read different posts stating if you can't get a table for 1, people are selecting different party numbers and only one show up. I had a reservation for 3, 2 of of us showed up and the other did not and our reservation was cancelled and we had to wait forever for another table. This happened twice, once at Chef Mickey's and once at Biergarten. Has any one else run into issues with this?
Thanks!

I have a breakfast ressie for 2 at Ohana at the end of Nov. None would come up for 1. As far as they'll know my "friend" may have gotten sick that morning and can't make it. :rolleyes1

I was also wondering about this. Only, I would love to go to lunch at Le Cellier...what are my chances? Also, does anyone know what the hours are for lunch?

I was finally able to get an ADR for a party of 3. It's earlier then I wanted but at least I have it. I will let you guys know how it works out.

I've eaten at 'Ohana for both breakfast and dinner as a solo diner with no problem; they just bring out an approriate amount of food for one person.

Certain restaurants are great for parties of one. I've gotten walks easily at Tutti Italia, Biergarten, Marrakesh, and Teppan Edo. Le Cellier walkups are almost impossible to get. If you don't get Ohana, try Kona at the Poly instead.

If you call the dining reservation phone number - you can probably make that a party of 2 without losing your reservation. That way - if they have any tables for two - you'll get one of those instead of holding a 4 top. Now - I can't remember if O'Hana HAS tables for 2 or not. Only been there once. You might even be able to switch it to one by calling.

I just changed a bunch from 3 to 2 the other day when my traveling companions changed with no problems by calling them directly. I could not have gotten a reservation online for just 2. One of these was at Le Cellier - the lady didn't esay a word. We just went down my list of ADR's and got it all right. She even fixed my problem when I hadn't booked the Fantasmic "package" at Brown Derby -which I thought I had. That one wasn't a guarantee she said when she started looking for times to make it a package.

I always book for 2. Most of the time only really late ressies show up. This time I lucked out and got an earlier one. Try doing it for two.
