I haven't been to DLC for over 20 years so am completely out of touch on what is there now, so here is the first of many questions to come!

Can anyone tell me what months are the best for pleasant weather/low crowds? In the mid/high 70's would be ideal.

TIA! :)

DW & I were just there 2 1/2 weeks ago(March 8-13). The weather was mid-fifties in the morning/evening & mid-seventies during the day. We wore light jackets & tied them around our waist when it warmed up. We even wore shorts most days. We had a blast!

<font color=navy>I would say anytime would be ideal - we had beautiful weather all winter long - the only problem is - you don't know when you're going to get hit with that occasional storm.

Your best bets would be mid June - before schools let out here - yes, the crowds are a bit more, but more attractions will be open.

September - right after Labor day is good - before they begin their refurbishment schedule.

November-early December (excluding Thanksgiving weekend) - great weather, dry, and the Christmas decorations are up - it's my favorite time of year there. And, the weekends may be crowded, but during the week, the attractions are practically a walk-on.

Thanks jimmiej and Mary Jo.

We think we will go in September or October now. Could you tell me when is Labor Day in the US? Also do you have more info on when they start their refurbishment schedule please? Something we would prefer to avoid if at all possible!
