What are the best kinds of sandals to wear in the parks?

Miss Park Avenue -- I have also been interested in the Keen's sandal. Can't find them near where I live but I did find them at Zappos with free shipping and free return shipping. Anybody else use the Keens Newport H20 for walking/hiking?

I, too, was considering getting the Lands End water mesh tennis shoes and would wear them with socks. I figured I could take the socks off for water rides, and if they weren't soaked, would put the socks on. Figured the mesh would just help the heat escape from the top of my feet.

I agree about the Teva Tan!!! I have a pair of Wal-Mart specials Teva-type sandals that I wear to the ballpark and my feet have the weirdest tan on them!!!!

I would take the socks off if I went on water rides. I just wanted to know if they were comfortable or not, and if anyone thought I would have to wear socks!!!
