I am tired of spending big bucks on my hair, but I am not willing to comprimise my hair dresser as I feel that makes a difference in how my hair looks and I am not willing to color it myself because I think it needs more depth than an at home hair kit. I am hoping to save some money on hair products.

Your title and post seem to be asking different things - if you are looking for a product to help your hair, I highly recommend Aveda damage remedy, specifically the conditioner.

Rather than a product, here's something that will save $$ and is super easy: Color Treated hair need only be shampooed 2-3 times every 7 days; use conditioner like you would shampoo every day:idea:by cutting down on the shampoo, you will save the color and keep it vibrant much longer. My stylist gave me that advice and it's so rught! Basically your hair needs only a gentle condition/rinse, but remember to scrub your scalp to get rid of the oils that accumulate there daily. For damaged hair, depending on the extent, go for a good cut to take away the damage and then cut back on any straightening irons or such. You may need to reassess your color/style preference if you have intense color treatments plus use excessive heat to style. The combination is a killer.

I can't use all those expensive products because expensive usually means fragrant and I have migraines so they never work out for me. I happen to like Pantene Moisture Renewal conditioner, it makes my thick curly hair soft and luxurious. For non-drying control I like Bumble and Bumble styling creme.
